HARRY REID WILL NOT ALLOW SENATE TO INVESTIGATE BENGHAZI

According to a story in Politico, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid stated in a letter to Republican Senators,  "I refuse to allow the Senate to be used as a venue for baseless partisan attacks".
The Democratic Senator from Nevada added this gem as well:

"The elections are over, it is time to put an end to the partisan politicization of national security and begin working together to strengthen our efforts to dismantle and destroy the terrorist networks that threaten us".

Yep. That's two of his quotes. Gems, right? Let's break it down just a wee bit for the Senator, shall we?

"Baseless"-  This normally means to thinking people, those of us who are able to walk upright and read English, evidential support.  Senator, please get a clue.  What is baseless is your morality and your human decency to insult our intelligence like this. American's are talking about this, even your leftist press is talking about this very important issue and you want to play yours and the Progressives normal, "lie no matter the facts" game. We aren't playing Senator, we will not repeat the obvious. Buy a vowel if you need to, but please get a clue.
" Partisan Attacks"-  The 4 men including a U.S. Ambassador that was sodomized don't care about partisanship Mr. Senator. But apparently you do participate in partisan attacks or otherwise you would be screaming from the roof tops, like you do when it is time to spend other people's money, for answers to questions that the President has not been forthcoming at all, either before or after the election.  Questions like, "what did the President know and when did he know it"? Questions like did the President or didn't the President give an order to go into Benghazi the night of 9-11 and to save our men on the ground that had been requesting help for weeks. Questions like why was the President, the Secretary of State, U.N. Ambassador Rice, and the Ex-CIA Director spouting off, in some cases for two weeks about a You-Tube video??

Are those questions too "Partisan" for you Senator?

You see Senator, the American People, (remember us?) are your boss. We remember back in 2007, before the "surge" into Iraq when you Senator made the brilliant statement that the "war was lost".  When you also said in 2008:
“Coal makes us sick. Oil makes us sick. And this global warming is ruining our country. It’s ruining the world.”  Then, that same year Harry you advocated a ban on all oil exploration in the massive shale depositories of America’s western states, which are estimated to hold between 800 billion and 2 trillion barrels of oil.
And didn't you Harry, I mean Senator Reid, during the 2008 presidential campaign say that Barack Obama stood a good chance of winning because he is "light-skinned" and has "no negro dialect -- unless he wants to." ??  Yeah. So basically Senator, you say a lot of well, frankly, a lot of non-sense. I mean I haven't even come close to all of the things you have supported and lied through your teeth about such as the time that you said  "[b]ut for me, we'd be in a worldwide depression", ha ha, that was a good one Harry.
We don't expect you to do anything any differently here.  We just would like you to get out of the way.  We would like answers.  We think investigations to get to the bottom of the Benghazi tragedy is a good idea. The more the merrier.  We think there is a lot riding on it as a matter of fact.  The families of those who died because no help came, would like some answers too Senator.   This may not fit your type of thugocracy in the Senate that you "oversee", and with the scandals that you have had, so we don't really expect you to do anything but what you have done already regarding Benghazi. Stonewall for POTUS.

If Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid didn’t make it clear enough to Republicans that he opposes a select committee to investigate the Benghazi attacks, he said it again Friday: No way.

If Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid didn’t make it clear enough to Republicans that he opposes a select committee to investigate the Benghazi attacks, he said it again Friday: No way.
In letters to key Republican senators, Reid put his foot down — again — on the idea of a special panel to dig into the Sept. 11 assault that killed U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens and three diplomatic aides in Libya. A select committee would need a floor vote to be created, and Reid said he wouldn’t permit it.
