Mexico Earthquake 2012: Two Quakes Damage 800 Homes in Worst, Strongest Since 1985

The ring of fire is a section of our planet that has ongoing seismic activity. The area that is affected is South America, then out to the island of Vanuatu, next is New Zealand and Australia, followed by Japan. Recently there were earthquakes in the Aleutian Islands off Alaska.
"You will notice that the 7.6 earthquake, that hit Mexico yesterday, has been lost in the ongoing 12 hour news rotation cycle. It’s on with the next story, leave the clean up and details to someone else. However, I believe that the west coast of the United States will not go without an incident"

What is puzzling to me is that the west coast of the United States, specifically, Washington, Oregon and California, so far have gone unscathed. I believe that is about to change and we will perhaps see the big one in Southern California. I hope I’m wrong.
We are told in the Guide book to the Supernatural, i.e. the Bible, that there will be wars and rumors of wars, famines and earthquakes in diverse places. Please remember that at the time this was penned, almost 2000 years ago there was no way to keep track of any of this. It is only in modernity, with the advance of scientific instrumentation, that we have been able to track the earthquakes that happen all over the globe. I find the prophecy interesting in that Yashua/Jesus is warning us that in the latter days, the end times, the time leading up to The Time of Jacob’s Trouble, that these events would be a harbinger of His return.
You will notice that the 7.6 earthquake, that hit Mexico yesterday, has been lost in the ongoing 12 hour news rotation cycle. It’s on with the next story, leave the clean up and details to someone else. However, I believe that the west coast of the United States will not go without an incident, which is why I am blogging on this today
. Yesterday I called a friend who lives in the San Fernando Valley, which is the heart of where the Northridge earthquake struck in 1994. He remembers it well and his house sustained damage to the chimney and foundation. I suggested that he think about stocking up on food and water because we were overdue for an earthquake. My friend informed me that he and his wife had been discussing this few days ago and he thought that I had given him good counsel. He’s getting prepared.
I want to take a moment and discuss what might happen in the event of an 8.0 or perhaps a 9.0 temblor like the one that hit Fukushima, Japan. What would happen to the low-lying coastal regions in and around the south-land of California? Would a tidal wave or tsunami wipe out much of the coast? How far would a 70 foot wall of water travel inland? If any of this happened the loss of life would be in the tens of thousands. The San Onofre nuclear reactor is right on the coast and is, for all purposes, similar to the reactor that melted down in Fukushima. If the reactor was compromised how would this affect the surrounding cities and towns? Would we have another Chernobyl on our hands? There are millions of people living in the Los Angeles area, think about food and water for all of those people. If the roads and freeways are damaged how are the markets and stores going to keep up with the demand of basic necessities? If houses are destroyed and the power is out, how are people going to survive?
In closing today’s post: I was speaking at a conference a while ago and one of the speakers assured the audience that we were all going home soon. That the rapture would happen at any minute. I was taken aback by this and when my turn came to speak I respectfully disagreed and started my presentation with one word, Katrina. You could hear a pin drop in the room and shortly afterward the other speaker packed up his wares and left. When Richard Shaw and I went to New Orleans we saw the results of the Category 5 hurricane, as seven years afterward there were still abandoned houses and buildings.
Now is the time to prepare. Now is the time to get our houses in order, no matter where we live. We cannot depend on the Federal government or local police force in a time of emergency. We should have the pioneer spirit and understand fully that the times we are living in are unprecedented. When disaster strikes, like an earthquake, in the midst of it we should cry out the LORD. Rebuke the storm and ask for divine protection. Last weekend there was a Tornado watch in Newark Ohio. We pulled into the Chipolte parking lot, which was directly across the street from the Giant Circle Mound. In the near distance the sky was green and there were tornado cells forming. I stood in the parking lot and cried out in a loud voice. The Lord rebuke you by the blood of Lamb! Here’s a link that is inspiring and this woman walked in the authority that we have in Yashua’s name.
