Jerusalem Dateline: Why Terrorists Want to Harm Us
This week on Jerusalem Dateline, we remember the attacks of September 11, 2001, on the tenth anniversary. We'll take you to the streets of New York and Washington to see how those cities have recovered and moved on in the last decade.
We'll also take you to the streets of Jerusalem, and show you how Israelis viewed the attack on America from half way around the world. On September 11, 2001, Israel was a year into its own war on terror, and had experienced multiple terror attacks on its people. Just a month before the Twin Towers and Pentagon were attacked, Israel experienced one of its worst bombings yet -- an attack on an American pizza chain in the heart of Jerusalem. Some wondered then if it was a dual attack-- striking at Israelis in an American restaurant. A month later, it was clear: America was also under attack. We also talk with one of the world's foremost experts on Islam, Moshe Sharon. He'll tell us why the terrorists want to harm America and Israel. And CBN News Terrorism Analyst Erick Stakelbeck gives us a progress report. Ten years into the War on Terror, where do we stand?
