Courtroom Details of Obama’s 1/26 Eligibility Hearing, Georgia

Details from this morning’s eligibility hearing in Georgia, to accompany the Breaking News, “Default Judgment Against Obama Discussed: Today’s Eligibility Hearing in Georgia.”

The court convened at approximately 9:30 a.m. Judge Michael Malihi began by asking those present to stand and reading the last paragraph of Atty. Michael Jablonski’s letter to Brian Kemp, Georgia Secretary of State, “into the record,” commenting that Jablonski was not present at the hearing.

The judge called plaintiff David Welden to stand and asked where he resided and if he were a registered voter in the state of Georgia. Then his attorney, Van Irion, stood and stated that there were three types of citizenship in the United States. He then provided argument on the definition of “natural born Citizen,” referring to Minor v. Happersett.

“The court should recognize that the term ‘citizen” is not ‘natural born Citizen,’ Irion said. “The Minor court’s definition of ‘natural born Citizen’ says ‘parents.’

“In closing, this case is about the Constitution,” Irion said. We’ve shown that Barack Obama’s father was never a citizen…and that means he is not constitutionally qualified…Finally, the defendant was ordered to be here, and I wish to state on the record that that shows not just a contempt for this court…”

Then Irion was interrupted and stopped speaking.

9:54 a.m.: Atty. J. Mark Hatfield stood and stating that he represents Kevin Richard Powell and Carl Swensson. Hatfield mentioned the White House schedule as he saw that it related to Obama’s lack of attendance at the hearing.

Carl Swensson was sworn in at 9:56 a.m. and stated his residence and county. Then Kevin Powell was asked the same. Both were asked if they were able to vote for President of the United States.

Swensson and Powell explained their challenges filed with the Secretary of State’s office to the judge.

Hatfield held up the Certification of Nomination which Nancy Pelosi signed in 2008 to place Obama’s name on the ballot. The judge asked if it was a “certified copy,” and Hatfield answered that it was. He then read from it, stating that it did not affirm that the candidates met constitutional requirements to serve, while the wording from the Republican National Committee for its candidates did contain that wording.

The judge asked if the documents were from a “United States government source,” and Hatfield answered “Yes, sir, they were.”

Hatfield cited Jablonski’s January 25 letter “indicating that they did not want the proceedings to go forward and did not want to participate.” Hatfield also entered into evidence Obama’s book, Dreams From My Father.

Ken Allen, a resident of Arizona, stood to present the documentation he had received from the State Department after submitting a FOIA request early in 2009, which The Post & Email reported on here. He stated that “Barack Obama Sr.” was “never a citizen.”

At 10:09 a.m. someone said, “Let’s take a short break,” and people stood up and began moving around and talking with one another.

At 10:17 a.m., the court was called back in to order.

Atty. Orly Taitz was called upon to speak. The Georgia registered voter whom she represents, David Farrar, stood and identified himself.

Taitz utilized a projector on the wall to the right of the judge as an aid in her presentation. She then stated that evidence existed that Obama possessed Indonesian citizenship, to which the judge was heard by this writer to say, “That’s not relevant.” Taitz then discussed the court’s decision in Minor v. Happersett and was interrupted by the judge, who said, “Counselor, can you save your argument for the closing?” She then stopped speaking.

Mr. Christopher Strunk of New York then went up to the front of the courtroom to testify, and Taitz began to ask him questions about the passport records of Stanley Ann Dunham, one of which contains the name “Soebarkah.” Strunk stated, “She wanted that expunged from her record, but we never got that.”

Susan Daniels, Private Investigator from Ohio, then took the stand, and spoke about her investigation which revealed that Obama had reportedly been using a social security number which she contended had not been assigned to him.

Taitz asked Daniels, “What was the social security number attached to your request?” and Daniels read off “042-68-4425.” Daniels said, “In all my years, I’ve never seen anything like this.” She stated that the person who had originally owned the number had been born in 1890.

“First I ran the social security number to check the address, and the same number came up for him in Massachusetts, Illinois, and Washington, DC. It showed a phone number, and it was always the same number…It would show intermittently ‘August 4, 1961′ and ’1890.’” Daniels stated that she obtained information “directly from the Social Security Administration.”

At 10:30 Mr. Chito Papa took the stand. He stated that he works in the field of Information Technology including Adobe® software.

Taitz asked Papa if the “birth certificate” which “Obama posted online” had flattened layers. ”Did you see one layer or multiple layers? Taitz asked. ”I saw multiple layers,” he answered.

Taitz asked Papa about Obama’s social security number which appeared on his tax return posted on the internet, and Papa stated that the layers had not been flattened. Taitz then thanked Papa for his testimony.

At 10:36 a.m. another witness, Linda Jordan, was called to the stand. Taitz adjusted her Powerpoint presentation by means of a laptop computer and began by asking a question about “E-Verify,” the U.S. government’s system for flagging potential illegal immigrants from working. Jordan stated that she ran Obama’s number through the E-Verify system and said, “When I read it, it was 2011, and it could not verify it. It came back.”

At 10:39 a.m., Douglas Vogt took the stand. Vogt stated that he owns a typesetting company and has been “in the business for 18 years now.”

Taitz asked Vogt if he examined the birth certificate which was posted online, and he said, “Yes, I did.” He stated that “sloping lines” would not be seen if the image had been made from a paper document.

Taitz asked, “Would you expect to see a clear embossed seal on the document?” and Vogt answered, “Yes, I would.” However, he stated that such was not present on Obama’s birth certificate. Regarding the number of Obama’s purported birth record, Vogt stated that “federal regs” require that “all birth certificate numbers have to be sequential, starting on January 1.”

At 10:49, witness John Sampson took the stand. He stated that he has a background in criminal justice, served as a police officer in New York City and worked as an immigration inspector. His background includes working for the INS in the area of “immigration fraud” and he was also a deportation officer. He stated that he has testified in front of “federal grand juries.” He stated that he started his own consulting firm in 2009 and has been self-employed since then.

Taitz asked Sampson about Obama’s social security number, and Sampson said that he “ran” the number 042-68-4425 and that it was assigned to Obama since 1977.

Taitz asked if Sampson had examined the birth certificate, and he said, “Yes.” He raised the issue of the Nordyke twins’ birth certificate, whose numbers were lower than Obama’s even though their birth occurred a day later. He stated that the registrar’s name was different than that on the Nordyke twins’ documents and that it was unlikely that the registrar would have been different in the “same hospital” regarding births one day apart.

Sampson recommended further investigation, including subpoenas and court orders, to obtain more information on the number “042-68-4425.”

Sampson mentioned that Obama has also been known as “Barry Soetoro.”

Taitz asked what Sampson thought needed to be done regarding the questions about Obama’s background, and he recommended asking for an official copy of the SS-5 for his social security number application and the Hawaii Department of Health to see “if he was born in Hawaii.” Sampson stated that an investigation would be “a criminal investigation” through a U.S. attorney’s office. He said that if a person has been found to be impersonating a U.S. citizen, he would be subject to “deportation.”

Shortly thereafter, Sampson’s testimony ended, and Taitz began discussing Obama’s alleged years in Indonesia from 1968-71, during which he was known as “Barry Soetoro.”

“We have another boy who from 1968-69 was in Hawaii,” she said. The judge then said, “Are you testifying? Do you know how?” which brought laughter from the assembly. The judge then said she could discuss the matter during closing arguments. Taitz responded, “I would like to testify,” after which she took the stand.

Taitz stated that “Mr. Obama has resigned from the bar.” The judge asked, “How is that relevant?” Taitz said that it was pertinent because Obama was “hiding his identity.”

“I’m going to ask you to submit your testimony in writing,” the judge said. ”OK,” Taitz said. She then left the stand and spoke from the assembly once again. She stated that “We have clear evidence of fraud and forgery…Mr. Obama has used other last names…” She then stated that of all the lawsuits filed against Obama regarding his eligibility, none were heard on “the merits.” Taitz asked Judge Malihi to order the release of Obama’s records in Hawaii and to hold Obama in “contempt of court” for failing to appear at the hearing.

The judge said, “Thank you” and adjourned the court at 11:12 a.m.

Multi-billionaire George Soros has been using his vast wealth at least since 1984 to “build vibrant and tolerant democracies whose governments are accountable to their citizens”, in his words.

He has been “credited” or, more accurately, blamed for providing funding for several revolutions in which his preferred people took power. If you are a leftist, of course you might consider this to be a good thing as the groups Soros funds to do his dirty work are invariably leftist, including an enormous chunk of the radical Left here in America. Here are the top 5 revolutions, some ongoing, which have received substantial backing from George Soros.

1. The ‘Bulldozer Revolution’ in Serbia

On October 5, 2000, in the “Bulldozer Revolution“, a movement funded partly by George Soros swept Slobodan Milosevic from power. The LATimes reported on Soros’ role, noting the problems it would cause if he were to get too much credit for his activities. By providing lots of money to already existing but struggling groups that Soros believed to be “pro-democracy”, including the student group Otpor, Soros was able to topple that country’s government.

It’s an accomplishment that Hungarian-born financier George Soros doesn’t flaunt. Bragging about it, after all, could just make his global democracy-building mission more difficult.
But the multibillionaire philanthropist quietly played a key role in the dramatic overthrow last year of President Slobodan Milosevic. His Soros Foundations Network helped finance several pro-democracy groups, including the student organization Otpor, which spearheaded grass-roots resistance to the authoritarian Yugoslav leader.

In a 2003 news conference, Soros owned up to his involvement, not only to the revolt in Yugoslavia but other countries, as well.

“It is necessary to mobilize civil society in order to assure free and fair elections because there are many forces that are determined to falsify or to prevent the elections being free and fair,” Mr. Soros said. “This is what we did in Slovakia at the time of [Vladimir] Meciar, in Croatia at the time of [Franjo] Tudjman and in Yugoslavia at the time of Milosevic.”

In 2004, Richard Poe, in Velvet Revolution, USA, outlined the seven-step strategy used by Soros to topple Milosevic. This strategy, Poe writes, is the same “blueprint” used repeatedly by Soros in other countries: Form a Shadow Government, Control the Airwaves, Bleed the State Dry, Sow Unrest, Provoke an Election Crisis, Take the Streets, and above all, Outlast your Opponent.

2. Georgia’s “Rose Revolution”

After Yugoslavia, Soros set his sights on Georgia. Though he originally backed President Eduard Shevardnadze, when Shevardnadze met with Soros’ disapproval, Soros sought to replace him forthwith in the same manner that he had replaced Milosevic. He prepared for his goal to topple Shevardnadze by sending a young activist to Serbia to be trained by those who had successfully overthrown Milosevic.

[...] [F]unds from his Open Society Institute sent a 31-year-old Tbilisi activist named Giga Bokeria to Serbia to meet with members of the Otpor (Resistance) movement and learn how they used street demonstrations to topple dictator Slobodan Milosevic. Then, in the summer, Mr. Soros’s foundation paid for a return trip to Georgia by Otpor activists, who ran three-day courses teaching more than 1,000 students how to stage a peaceful revolution.

In December, 2003 , the Melbourne Herald-Sun offered a basic overview of George Soros‘ Open Society Institute‘s [OSI] impact in Georgia’s Rose Revolution (Radio Islam):

[...] [Soros] backed Georgia’s former justice minister, Mikhail Saakashvili, and spent some $4 million on a protest movement against the president. His organisations brought in experts in “non-violent revolution” from Serbia, gave $700,000 to an activist group that bussed in protesters, and financed an anti-government TV station and newspaper.
It worked. Last month, protesters smashed into Georgia’s parliament, yelling — probably correctly — that Shevardnadze had stolen the elections a month ago and must quit. Shevardnadze fled, and Saakashvili looks set for leadership.

Georgian Foreign Minister Salomé Zourabichvili told the French journal Hérodote that Soros’ Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) were not only responsible for toppling Shevardnadze, but had subsequently became an integral part of the resulting governmental power structure:

[...] [O]ne cannot end one’s analysis with the revolution and one clearly sees that, afterwards, the Soros Foundation and the NGOs were integrated into power.

Indeed, the record clearly shows Soros’ influence in Georgian policy, and Soros was in no way shy about it. In 2004, Soros, Saakashvili, and United Nations Development Program (UNDP) administrator Mark Malloch Brown,publicly announced their push for ”governance reforms in Georgia that would reflect the Soros version of an “open society“. By 2005, an anti-Soros group arose, somewhat reminiscent of America’s Tea Party Movement, to protest the “Western” influence that had, in their view, attached their government to Soros’ puppet strings.

The “Anti-Soros Movement” also plans to oust Saakashvili’s government but in a constitutional manner. The anti-Soros group claims that Saakashvili’s government places instructions from Soros above the Georgian Constitution.

In October, 2010, critics accused Saakashvili of trying to “rig the political system in his favor.” Indeed, the new constitution of Georgia was structured in such a way as to allow Saakashvili to retain power.

It should be noted that the 2004 announcement was by no means the first joint effort of Soros and Mark Malloch Brown. In 1993, Brown served on the Soros Advisory Committee on Bosnia. In 2002, Soros and Brown worked together to gain UN funding for people in countries with “bad governments”. In 2005, Brown rented property from Soros in New York worth $120,000 a year, though his annual salary from the UN was not much more than that: $125,000. Finally, in 2007 Brown was appointed Vice Chairman of Soros Fund Management and the OSI. This is a cozy relationship indeed.

3. George Soros Puts A Radical in the White House

A “shining city on a hill”, the United States of America has proven to be far less vulnerable to George Soros‘ tactics than other countries have been, but though Soros has been unable to “fundamentally transform” America, in the words of his candidate Barack Obama, it is clear that he played a game-changing role in the election of this radical leftist who carried with him to the White House a long list of Islamist and politically radical influences. These influences have made themselves evident throughout the Obama presidency on a wide variety of issues, including an unConstitutional provision in the healthcare law which could, if upheld through leftist judicial activism, be the key to opening the door to truly socialistic wealth redistribution in America.

In December of 2006, Obama, who by then was contemplating a run for the presidency, met in New York with billionaire financier George Soros, who previously had hosted a fundraiser for Obama during the latter’s 2004 campaign for the U.S. Senate.[...]
[...] On January 16, 2007, Obama announced the creation of a presidential exploratory committee. Within hours after the announcement, Soros sent the senator a contribution of $2,100, the maximum amount allowable under campaign finance laws. Later that week, the New York Daily News reported that Soros would back Obama over Senator Hillary Clinton, whom he had supported in the past.
At the time Obama announced the formation of his exploratory committee, he had logged a mere 143 days of experience in the U.S. Senate (i.e., the number of days the Senate had been in session since his swearing in on January 4, 2005).

NewsRealBlog has offered continual coverage of George Soros’ machinations in bringing Obama to power — including the driving of a wedge between Catholics — and in influencing policy. There are ongoing attempts to push the Soros blueprint, but thanks in large part to the Tea Party Movement, that agenda has been slowed, and sometimes thwarted. The “Anti-Soros” movement in America has thankfully been more effective than its counterpart in Georgia.

4. George Soros: A ‘Founding Father’ of an Islamist Turkey?

In June, 2006, while in Turkey pressing for Turkish membership in the EU, George Soros was questioned about his role in regime changes. It was already painfully clear to many that Soros had established himself as, in the words of Neil Clar of the NorthStar Compass, the “uncrowned king” of Eastern Europe. Soros rejected the claim, but his influence in Turkey is manifest. OSI has been actively studying politics and religion in Turkey since at least the 1990s and setting forth policy recommendations on these issues. More troubling, perhaps, is that OSI is seeking a new constitution for Turkey based on OSI values.

Can Paker, the head of OSI’s Assistance Foundation in Turkey, is also head of the Turkish Economic and Social Studies Foundation (TESEV), an organization lobbying for Turkey’s newly elected Parliament to adopt a brand new constitution. TESEV has commissioned a report on the “essential principles” to be included in that constitution.

Creating a framework of consensus is of critical importance to increase participation and legitimacy while preparing the new constitution, Ergun Özbudun, a prominent academic on constitutional law and a member of the commission set up by the Turkish Economic and Social Studies Foundation, or TESEV, said at a press conference Thursday in Istanbul.
The commission formed this month will prepare a report on the essential principles of a constitution, which will also include issues like identity, freedom of conscience, separation of powers, civil-military relations, local governance and decentralization, TESEV Director Can Paker told the media.

Much of this may sound well and good to those of us who may take basic human rights for granted, but there is a danger involved even beyond the danger of allowing some Western investor to determine what’s in your Constitution. TESEV seeks a Constitution based on pluralism.

Turkish Economic and Social Studies Foundation (TESEV) President Can Paker has called on the country’s politicians and civil society organizations to adopt a new, democratic constitution based on participatory and pluralistic politics.

“Pluralism”, generally speaking, is the rejection of the idea that something can be (1) held as absolutely true and (2) legitimately adhered to, or valued. An example of something that is accepted as “absolutely true” in America’s Constitution is that human rights are “unalienable”. The less a Constitution includes absolutes in regard to human dignity, property rights, due process, etc., the more the door is opened for communities, regions, or a whole country to adopt systems opposed to these values through pure democratic voting. One example of this would be Sharia Law.

Why mention Sharia? The Turkish newspaper Sabah has reported that OSI has shown itself to be “pro-AKP“. The AKP is the Islamist party in Turkey.

To many observers, the [2007] election marked another milestone in the development of Turkey’s brand of political Islam. The AKP is an offshoot of a more rigorously Islamist party, but Erdogan and other senior party figures have made little effort to bring personal piety into the public sphere.
That has done little to quell secularists’ wariness. Many are convinced that the AKP harbors a hidden Islamist agenda, one now more likely to make inroads into public policy.
“We see the danger of Sharia and fundamentalism,” said Hatice Ozbay, a volunteer for the main secular group, the Republican People’s Party, known in Turkish as the CHP. “We will keep on fighting that.”

Will George Soros succeed in his push for a constitution in Turkey that is heavy on democracy but low on absolutes that protect life, freedom of worship, property rights, etc., despite the risk of ushering in the spread of Sharia Law? This is still an open question, but he is certainly trying.

5. Soros Funds Unrest in Egypt

In May, 2007, OSI consultant Dr. Kian Tajbakhsh, was arrested by Iranian officials along with a colleague Haleh Esfandiari, for allegedly trying to undermine Iran’s government according to the Soros blueprint. Tajbakhsh said at the time:

“The Soros centre’s job in eastern Europe is nearly finished. Its main focus now is the Islamic world, Arab countries, Turkey, Pakistan, Afghanistan, etc.”

This claim’s timeline, at least, is certainly correct. Having become the uncrowned king of Eastern Europe, and working hard for a government in Turkey that has the Soros stamp of approval, Soros’ focus clearly turned from Eastern Europe to the Islamic world.

In April of last year, a Soros-funded organization in Egypt launched a weekly newspaper called Wasla.

The weekly Wasla – or “The Link” – is being touted as a first for the Arab world, with plans for articles by bloggers as a way of giving them a wider readership.
It is published by the Arabic Network for Human Rights Information and financially supported by the Open Society Institute created by Soros, said ANHRI director Gamal Eid.

The Daily News Egypt reported that “ElBaradei Fever” was an important topic at Wasla. Elbaradei, Muslim Brotherhood-backed, is believed to have attempted to destroy (along with Soros) George Bush’s hopes for re-election in 2004.

The first issue of Wasla includes entries published on tahyyes.blogspot.com, and demaghmak.blogspot.com on the “ElBaradei fever .

Elbaradei and Soros both serve on the board of directors of the International Crisis Group, an organization that also has connections within the Democratic Party including President Obama.

On January 18, Wasla headlined the story “Tunisia is the answer”.

The issue interconnects all uprises in the Arab world with Tunisian revolution which overthrew Ben Ali.

Reports on the role of Islamic movements in the Tunisian and Egyptian uprisings have placed considerable faith in the “secular” elements of those societies to resist Sharia’s regressive influence on human rights. But one cannot passively invoke as protection the institutions that Sharia will attack and destroy once its proponents are strong enough to go on the offensive, especially not when recalling how flimsy the veneer of a modern, secular society turned out to be in Iraq.

Indeed, secularism in and of itself hasn’t a chance in resisting Sharia.

Where is the Bright Side in This?

America has a strong Constitution which, though not perfect, has enshrined absolutes that are in accord with true human dignity and that have been resilient even in the face of George Soros‘ attempts to “fundamentally transform” our country. Soros will never become the uncrowned king of America as he has done in Eastern Europe. Pluralism may work for a time in that part of the world, perhaps even with Soros pulling the strings, but Soros errs considerably if he believes pluralism will hold in the face of Islam. His agenda will be squashed like a gnat in the Islamic world.

In the long history of the world, time and time again we have witnessed that core Judeo-Christian values which have inherent emphasis on freedom of conscience while protecting the weakest among us and the liberties that make a strong citizenry — though struggles have been many across the centuries — hold strong in the face of Islam. Israel and America both continue in these values. Secularism which focuses on pluralism and pure democracy, however, will crumple like a daisy.

Despite the troubling events occurring around the world, much of which is due to one seriously misguided individual, we are all truly blessed to be able to hold onto the fact that Israel still stands as a beacon of democracy in the Middle East, and America still remains a “shining city on a hill” — heralding the blessings of liberty to a broken, hurting, and sometimes very angry world.

Our planet is being bombarded by high-energy particles unleashed by the strongest solar storm since 2005, scientists say.

The charged particles are mostly a concern for satellites - which they can disrupt - and astronauts.

But they can also cause communication problems for aircraft travelling near the poles.

The geomagnetic storm has been caused by a potent flare that erupted from the Sun at 0400 GMT on Monday.

The effects are likely to be felt on Earth throughout Wednesday.

A more benign effect of the outpouring of particles is the ability to see aurorae, or "Northern lights", farther south than is usually possible.

A spokesman for US space agency Nasa said that flight surgeons and solar scientists have modelled the flare's predicted effects.

They decided that the six astronauts on the International Space Station do not have to take any action to protect themselves from the incoming stream of particles.

Solar flares are caused by the sudden release of magnetic energy stored in the Sun's atmosphere.

In an event called a coronal mass ejection (CME), bursts of charged particles are released into space.

Nasa's Goddard Space Weather Center predicted that the coronal mass ejection was moving at almost 2,200 km/s when it was due to reach Earth's magnetosphere - the magnetic envelope that surrounds our planet - on Tuesday at 1400 GMT (plus or minus 7 hours).

This can interfere with technology on Earth, such as electrical power grids, communications systems and satellites - including satellite navigation (or sat-nav) signals.

In 1972, a geomagnetic storm provoked by a solar flare knocked out long-distance telephone communication across the US state of Illinois.

And in 1989, another storm plunged six million people into darkness across the Canadian province of Quebec.

But a spokesman for the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's (Noaa) Space Weather Prediction Center said the effects of this solar eruption seem likely to be moderate.

This article is a good overview (see link above) of what is shaping up in the Strait of Hormuz. I Blogged about this scenario months ago and now it is manifesting and on the world scene. The Iranians know that closing Hormuz is the one offensive posture they can take that will do the most harm to the west. Choke off the oil and the already fragile global economy goes into a tail spin, with oil prices perhaps going over $200 a barrel. So here’s my alaysis…
1. Iran believes in the Imam Mahdi, the one who is to come in a time of chaos that will create a Muslim Caliphate and teach Jesus (Isa) to pray in Jerusalem. He will also wipe out the Jews. This apocalyptic belief is very dangerous as the Mullahs, the Islamic clergy that rules Iran, are believers in the Mahdi and point out that the Arab Spring is a fulfilment of the prophecy that states the Mahdi will appear during a time of chaos. This makes the situation charged with apocalyptic fervor.
2. Russia declared that an attack against Tehran was an attack against Moscow. You will notice that the chart above only shows Western military and naval strength, but does not show the positioning of Russian ships off Syria and in the Strait. Is this the hook in the Jaw that the prophet Ezekiel described thousands of years ago?
3. In Politics, Prophecy and the Supernatural, I point out that: the current political landscape is in direct correlation to supernatural events that happened, in some cases millennia ago. This statement sums up what we are seeing in the Middle East. Supernatural events have shaped the body politic in Iran – see point #1 – and thus, the Iranians are basing their militaristic position on those supernatural events. This also is in conjunction with the so-called Arab Spring. I believe that there is a supernatural component to the uprising of millions of people across the Middle East. If you scroll down to: In Other News. you will find a story about Egypt honoring the uprising. The Islamist have now won the majority of seats in the newly formed government in Egypt and I believe we will now see Sharia law implemented. This coupled with the blatant anti-Semitism that is now being proclaimed with slogans like, One nation for a new Holocaustt, can only exacerbate the endless tension with Israel.
4. I believe that we are seeing the stage being set for either the Psalm 83 war, the Isaiah 17 prophecy, or the Ezekiel 38 -39 prophecy. We may, in fact, see these prophecies fulfilled in rapid succession, one after another.
In closing todays post: The drums of war are beating louder than ever and what may transpire in the Middle East may become the game changer of all time. I will write about a post that I read about disclosure tomorrow that I believe ties in with everything I discussed in todays’ BLOG. The war is a stepping stone to a one world government, a new paradigm that the new-agers and others are waiting for. We may see events that will leave us stunned. I believe the war is a prelude to what I call The Coming Great Deception.

He also said that Communism would take over America "without firing a shot."

I am not suggesting that the "movers and shakers" trying to take over many of our capitalistic institutions are secretly planning a Communist revolution in America. Some like the idea of Socialism; others just want to bail America out of financial trouble to stabilize the world. However, more industries are going to fail in the coming months and need further government intervention. When does the spinning wheel stop and where will we be at when it is over?
As it concerns some recent desperate moves to stabilize the economy Joseph Farah asks, " Excuse me? Were you consulted? Do you recall having a national debate about this? Did your congressional representatives poll you on whether you liked this idea? Dare I ask, where would such a move be authorized in the U.S. Constitution? Or has America completely moved away from the idea of the rule of law and the will of the people being the key determinants in our supposedly self-governing society?"

As many of my radio guests and I have said in the last month or two, it is global government that is likely around the corner. Maybe this will be a Socialistic plan. First there will be regional unions and ultimately a one-world system looking to Europe.

Commentator David Limbaugh says, "Maybe I'm being too much of an alarmist, but I'm worried for the first time in my life that the election of a presidential candidate could lead to a fundamental change in our system of government. How many times must history repeat itself before we learn that Socialism and Communism cannot work?"

Karl Marx said, "A new revolution is possible only in consequences of a new crisis." We have a crisis. As a matter of fact, unless the world stock markets stabilize, the entire world could be looking at a financial tsunami. Many nations, including America, could be ripe for being taken over by unsavory political efforts "without firing a shot."

Sen. Barack Obama has declared himself a Socialist. The now-famous "Joe the plumber" brought the truth out. Joe may be the most important non-candidate in this race. He became globally famous in 24 hours. He challenged Obama's tax plans on camera as Joe can't buy a business he wants. It will be unrealistically taxed. Obama responded,

"It's not that I want to punish your success. I just want to make sure that everybody who is behind you, that they've got a chance for success, too. I just think that when you spread the wealth around, it's good for everybody."

No, it isn't good for everybody. Quoting radio commentator John Loeffler,

"As it becomes more difficult for small businesses to function in the poisoned atmosphere of taxes, fees, fines, regulations, and prosecutions, more of the middle class throws up its hands and goes elsewhere or becomes part of the dependent poor. Small businesses will go out of business or operates illegally. As inflation devours savings, people are wiped out. Retirees have a difficult time getting on as their lifetime achievements are destroyed. Most of the middle class slides down the slope into poverty."

Citizens are not likely to run harder and harder and run faster and faster to keep up with the loss of their currency's worth and rise in prices.

The obvious is that Socialism means giving some of my wealth and Joe's wealth to someone less deserving. This is the very reason the founding fathers rebelled against England. They were beholden to big government in England, and we will be if we take this road to Socialism.

This is Karl Marx speaking: "From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs." You will produce what you can using your talents, and then the government will use its power to take your earnings and spread them to others who are unable (or unwilling) to do as well. It isn't by accident that the Soviet Union failed! It wasn't the "worker's paradise," and it won't work in America!

So America could be in for big change. That's the battle cry! As Victor Davis Hanson says in National Review Online, "Obama wasn't born into Rev. Jeremiah Wright's world. Obama could have picked any church in Chicago. He picked Jeremiah Wright's church, and Wright is in to 'Black Liberation Theology.' This is a movement rooted in Socialism and Marxism." Quoting Gary Bauer,

"This is just Marxism dressed up in the gospel of economic justice."

So change we may get; in fact, the entire way in which our country has functioned for over 230 years could be turned upside down! Is this one reason America does not seem to play a prominent role in the last days?

In spite of America's weaknesses, we are still a bright light in a wicked world. When my Jewish grandparents fled the pogroms of Russia right before 1920, they wept tears of joy as their dingy and filthy ship sailed past the Statue of Liberty. They fled a sick Russian system for a land offering freedom and prosperity. And yes, they did prosper, but if they saw what America seems to be morphing into today, they would cry a different kind of tears.

May I suggest that you spend time praying and fasting for America in the next two weeks? All is not lost. But God wants "change," too. He wants to see America become a God-fearing nation again. What will it take?

The Five Stages of Islam

Forget the Five Pillars of Islam. It is the Five Stages of Islam that threaten the fundamental freedoms of Western Democracy.

Freedoms which include freedom of thought, expression, and association and the crucial derived right of freedom of the press. We should never forget that “Islam” means submission — the opposite of self-determination and Enlightenment values.

Six years ago Dr. Peter Hammond published a remarkable book which included a statistical study of the correlation between Muslim to non-Muslim population ratios and the transition from conciliatory Islam to fascist Islam. The stages are the same in 2011 but the demographics have changed to show an alarming progression. Many European nations and the U.S. are on the cusp of moving to a higher bracket. The demographics change but the story is the same. First comes the taqiyya and the kitman; then comes the Sword of Islam. Imam Rauf, the Ground Zero Mosque promoter, is the current master of taqiyya. He has gulled everyone from Bloomberg to Maureen Dowd of the NYT — who fanatisizes over male Muslims. Expect doppelgangers of Khomeini for stage 5 and Islamic PEACE at last.

Stage 1. Establish a Beachhead

Population density à 2% (US, Australia, Canada).

Muslims are conciliatory, deferential but request harmless special treatment (foot bath facilities, removal/elimination of that which is offensive to delicate Muslim sensibilities – like walking dogs near Mosques).

Stage 2. Establish Outposts

Population density 2% – 5% (UK, Germany, Denmark).

At 2% to 5%, they begin to proselytize other ethnic minorities and disaffected groups, often with major recruiting from the jails and among street gangs. A recent example is that of Sheikh Abdullah el-Faisal who is back in Jamaica after being kicked out of the UK. Sound harmless? Read on:

The dispatch, dated February 2010, warns that that Jamaica could be fertile ground for jihadists because of its underground drug economy, marginalized youth, insufficient security and gang networks in U.S. and British prisons.

Stage 3. Establish Sectional Control of Major Cities.

Population density 5% – 10% (France, Sweden, Netherlands).

First comes the demand for halal food in supermarkets, and the blocking of streets for prayers; then comes the demand for self rule (within their ghettos) under Sharia. When Muslims approach 10% of the population the demands turn to lawlessness. In Paris, we are already seeing car-burnings. Any criticism of Islam results in uprisings and threats, such as in Amsterdam. In France which may be over the 10% range, the minority Muslim populations live in ghettos, within which they are 100% Muslim, and within which they live by Sharia Law. The national police do not even enter these ghettos. There are no national courts, nor schools, nor non-Muslim religious facilities. In such situations, Muslims do not integrate into the community at large. The children attend madrassas. They learn only the Koran. To even associate with an infidel is a crime punishable with death.

Stage 4. Establish Regional Control.

Population density 20% - 50% (Europe 2020?).

After reaching 20%, nations can expect hair-trigger rioting, jihad militia formations, sporadic killings, and the burnings of Christian churches and Jewish synagogues.

Stage 5. Total Control, Brutal Suppression, and Dhimmitude.

Population density > 50%.

Unfettered persecution of non-believers of all other religions (including non-conforming Muslims), sporadic ethnic cleansing (genocide), use of Sharia Law as a weapon, and jizya, the tax placed on infidels. As Muslim population levels increase and all infidels cower in submission there will peace at last. Dar al-Islam is achieved and everyone lives under Sharia and the Koran is the only word.

Our current Western world leaders are suckered by taqiyya and kitman and steering us into stage 3. Allen West seems to get it but I can’t see that any of the crop of current GOP contenders really get it. Fear of bigotry at stage 2 is the Islamists’ greatest weapon. Crucified on the cross of bigotry — is that the future of the Western democracies? Bigotry is only bigotry if it is out of touch with reality and it is the suckers who believe the stage 1-2 peace pitch of Islam who are the ones who are out of touch with reality — not to mention our mesmerized President. The first GOP candidate who announces to Imam Rauf and his supporters, “Fine. A Mosque at ground zero. But how about a cathedral in Mecca first? It is part of our Christian outreach program of bridge building.” will be the first to get it and a big boost in the polls.

Iran to U.S.: Bring it on

High-ranking Iranian military officials are rattling sabers again, this time by issuing a warning that Iranian submarines “can ambush and destroy enemy vessels especially U.S. aircraft carriers” should they return to the Persian Gulf – even as the first has returned, according to a report in Joseph Farah’s G2 Bulletin.

Rear Adm. Farhad Amiri, of the Iranian army’s self-sufficiency jihad, claimed that the United States is especially focused on Iran’s “astonishing subsurface capabilities.”
Iran is known to have a number of diesel-run submarines, some purchased from Russia years ago, but the nation also has developed an indigenous submarine production.
The submarines not only can fire missiles off of their decks when surfaced but they are assessed by various reliable sources to have the Russian export version of the Shkval, a high-speed supercavitating rocket-propelled torpedo designed to be a rapid-reaction defense against other submarines and surface vessels.
It also can be used as a counter-measure to an incoming torpedo. Because the Shkval can travel at speeds of 250 miles per hour, the U.S. Navy has no known defense against it.
The Russians also have developed a “super” Shkval, which can be guided. It cannot be ruled out that the Russians may have provided the super Shkval to the Iranians.
Amiri not only pointed to the Iranian navy’s arms and equipment but also to “tactical issues,” apparently referring to the capability that the Iranian submarines can sit quietly on the Persian Gulf’s seafloor.
“It would be the worst threat to the enemy,” Amiri said. “That is one of the U.S. concerns since Iranian submarines are noiseless and can easily evade detection as they are equipped with the sonar-evading technology and can fire missiles and torpedoes simultaneously.
When the submarine sits on the seabed it can easily target and hit an aircraft carrier traversing in the nearby regions.” According to reliable sources, sonar on U.S. warships to detect the submarines may not pick up the Iranian submarines, especially the smaller submarines in Iran’s inventory, since U.S. equipment is so powerful and designed to work in deep waters.
Meanwhile, U.S. report said the USS Abraham Lincoln was dispatched back into the Persian Gulf today.

Occupy Wall Streeters (OWS) call themselves a movement in protest against America’s economic elite — the Top One Percent in income and wealth. But action always speaks louder and are more revealing than words.

From the beginning, Fellowship of the Minds has pointed to OWS’s true hard-left nature. The latest activities of OWS now leave no doubt as to what this movement is really about.

Yesterday was the 39th anniversary of the Supreme Court’s Roe v Wade decision that opened America’s floodgate to abortion. To mark that woeful anniversary, many Marches for Life were held across America.

On Sunday, January 22, 2012, the first-ever official March for Life Youth Rally convened in Washington, D.C., with 1,200 attendees, including March for Life founder Nellie Gray. The rally was disrupted by 15-20 Occupy protestors situated in threes throughout the auditorium, who stood and began shouting pro-abortion chants, drowning out the speaker at the mic.

Amidst chants of “occupy anti-choice” and “pro-life, that’s a lie, you don’t care if women die,” rally organizers instructed the youth not to react but to pray as security was called. As the shouting continued and security was delayed, organizers chose to begin the first set of music. The cheers of the massive crowd at the suggestion drowned out the protestors, who were unheard from that point until they were escorted out by security.

At the same time, Occupy Wall Streeters in New York vandalized a Manhattan church and urinated on the cross in a Brooklyn church.

Candice M. Giove reports for the New York Post, Jan. 22, 2012, that when Rev. Bob Brashear prepared for Sunday morning services at Manhattan’s West Park Presbyterian Church, he noticed parts of the bronze baptismal font were gone. The 18-inch-diameter bronze basin and lid missing from the baptismal font’s 800-pound base. Holy water — straight from the River Jordan — had been poured from the missing basin insert into the base’s bowl.

The Manhattan church had been sheltering Occupy Wall Streeters. About 60 occupiers had rolled out their sleeping bags between the pews the night before.

Just 3 weeks earlier, a $2,400 Apple MacBook had vanished from Brashear’s office. He told the occupiers that even when the 100-year-old Upper West Side church extended help to addicts during the 1980s drug scourge, no visitors touched its $12,500 sacramental instrument. “Not even crackheads messed with that,” Rev. Brashear said.

He then issued a stern warning to the Occupiers: “You have 24 hours to find it [the baptismal font] and to come up with an amends and to come up with a plan. ‘I’m sorry and it won’t happen again’ won’t work.”

The pastor and a worshipper finally found the missing basin tossed into a small room connected to the church. The lid is still missing. The pastor has given protesters two weeks to vacate the church.

Park Slope Presbyterian Church

OWS did something even worse at the Park Slope Presbyterian Church in Brooklyn, which had also offered shelter to occupiers — they urinated on a cross.

At Park Slope Presbyterian Church…officials have revealed that activists have desecrated its property.

Rabbi Chaim Gruber, who had previously announced his solidarity with the OWS movement, claimed that an activist had urinated inside the church, and the urine had come in contact with a cross.

The rabbi posted a long letter on the New York General Assembly website revealing that since the incident and other disagreeable issues within the movement, he has since retracted his support from the group, as he feels it has lost the values he initially respected it for.

TEHRAN/BRUSSELS: Iran accused Europeans on Monday of waging "psychological warfare" after the EU banned imports of Iranian oil, and US President Barack Obama said Washington would impose more sanctions to address the "serious threat presented by Iran's nuclear program."

The Islamic Republic, which denies trying to build a nuclear bomb, scoffed at efforts to choke its oil exports, as Asia lines up to buy what Europe scorns.

Some Iranians also renewed threats to stop Arab oil from leaving the Gulf and warned they might strike US targets worldwide if Washington used force to break any Iranian blockade of a strategically vital shipping route.

Yet in three decades of confrontation between Tehran and the West, bellicose rhetoric and the undependable armoury of sanctions have become so familiar that the benchmark Brent crude oil price edged only 0.8 per cent higher, and some of that was due to unrelated currency factors.

"If any disruption happens regarding the sale of Iranian oil, the Strait of Hormuz will definitely be closed," Mohammad Kossari, deputy head of parliament's foreign affairs and national security committee, told Fars news agency a day after US, French and British warships sailed back into the Gulf.

"If America seeks adventures after the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, Iran will make the world unsafe for Americans in the shortest possible time," Kossari added, referring to an earlier US pledge to use its fleet to keep the passage open.

In Washington, Obama said in a statement that the EU sanctions underlined the strength of the international community's commitment to "addressing the serious threat presented by Iran's nuclear program."

"The United States will continue to impose new sanctions to increase the pressure on Iran," Obama said.

The United States imposed its own sanctions against Iran's oil trade and central bank on Dec 31. On Monday, it imposed sanctions on the country's third-largest bank, state-owned Bank Tejarat and a Belarus-based affiliate, for allegedly helping Tehran develop its nuclear program.

The EU sanctions were also welcomed by Israel, which has warned it might attack Iran if sanctions do not deflect Tehran from a course that some analysts say could potentially give Iran a nuclear bomb next year.

US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said in a statement with Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner: "This new, concerted pressure will sharpen the choice for Iran's leaders and increase their cost of defiance of basic international obligations."

US ambassador to the United Nations, Susan Rice, reiterated Washington's commitment to freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz. "I think that Iran has undoubtedly heard that message and would be well advised to heed it," she said at a meeting of the board of governors of the American Jewish Committee in New York.

CALLS FOR TALKS: Germany, France and Britain used the EU sanctions as a cue for a joint call to Tehran to renew long-suspended negotiations on its nuclear programme. Russia, like China a powerful critic of the Western approach, said talks might soon be on the cards.

Iran, however, said new sanctions made that less likely. It is a view shared by some in the West who caution that such tactics risk hardening Iranian support for a nuclear programme that also seems to be subject to a covert "war" of sabotage and assassinations widely blamed on Israeli and Western agents.

The European Union embargo will not take full effect until July 1 because the foreign ministers who agreed the anticipated ban on imports of Iranian crude at a meeting in Brussels were anxious not to penalise the ailing economies of Greece, Italy and others to whom Iran is a major oil supplier. The strategy will be reviewed in May to see if it should go ahead.

Curbing Iran's oil exports is a double-edged sword, as Tehran's own response to the embargo clearly showed.

Loss of revenue is painful for a clerical establishment that faces an awkward electoral test at a time of galloping inflation which is hurting ordinary people. But since Iran's Western-allied Arab neighbours are struggling to raise their own output to compensate, the curbs on Tehran's exports have driven up oil prices and raised costs for recession-hit Western industries.

A member of Iran's influential Assembly of Experts, former intelligence minister Ali Fallahian, said Tehran should respond to the delayed-action EU sanctions by stopping sales to the bloc immediately, denying the Europeans time to arrange alternative supplies and damaging their economies with higher oil prices.

"The best way is to stop exporting oil ourselves before the end of this six months and before the implementation of the plan," the semi-official Fars news agency quoted him as saying.

2 Killed 100+ Injured in Alabama Tornado's. Video Shows Massive Power

January is not exactly tornado season. Last year was a record breaking year for tornado activity and the deaths they caused. I have posted several stories, including a couple this year, (link) about the very real possibility that the United States is under judgement, and God is trying to get our attention to repent and turn to the shelter that is His Son. We will see how the year develops, because I believe that these things will continue to increase, if in fact the theory proves correct. CLAY, Ala. • Severe storms and possible tornadoes pounded the South on Monday, injuring more than 100 people and killing at least two in Alabama, including a man who lived in an area devastated by a deadly twister outbreak in the spring.

Homes were flattened, windows were blown out of cars and roofs were peeled back in the middle of the night in the rural community of Oak Grove near Birmingham. As dawn broke, residents surveyed the damage and officials used chainsaws to clear fallen trees.

Oak Grove was hit hard in April when tornadoes ravaged Alabama, killing about 240 people, though officials said none of the same neighborhoods was struck again. Officials had to reschedule a meeting Monday to receive a study on Alabama’s response to the spring tornadoes.

"Some roads are impassable, there are a number of county roads where you have either debris down, trees down, damage from homes," said Yasamie Richardson, a spokeswoman for the Alabama Emergency Management Agency.

An 82-year-old man died in Oak Grove and a 16-year-old girl was killed in Clay, Jefferson County sheriff’s spokesman Randy Christian said.

The storm system stretched from the Great Lakes to the Gulf of Mexico, producing a possible tornado that moved across northern Jefferson County around 3:30 a.m., causing damage in Oak Grove and other communities, Christian said.

As day broke, searchers went door-to-door calling out to residents, many of whom were trapped by trees that crisscrossed their driveways.

Stevie Sanders woke up around 3:30 a.m. and realized bad weather was on the way. She, her parents and sister hid in the laundry room of their brick home as the wind howled and trees started cracking outside.

"You could feel the walls shaking and you could hear a loud crash. After that it got quiet, and the tree had fallen through my sister’s roof," said Sanders.

The family was OK, and her father, Greg Sanders, spent the next hours raking his roof and pulling away pieces of broken lumber.

"It could have been so much worse," he said. "It’s like they say, we were just blessed."

In Clanton, about 50 miles south of Birmingham, rescuers were responding to reports of a trailer turned over with people trapped, City Clerk Debbie Orange said.

Also south of Birmingham, Maplesville town clerk Sheila Haigler said high winds damaged many buildings and knocked down several trees. One tree fell on a storm shelter, but no one was injured, Haigler said. Police had not been able to search some areas because trees and power lines were blocking roads.

In Arkansas, there were possible tornadoes in several areas Sunday night. The storms also brought hail and strong winds as they moved through parts of Arkansas, Tennessee, Illinois and Mississippi.

Tornado warnings were issued for parts of Tennessee, Mississippi and Alabama.

A Georgia state judge has ordered President Barack Obama to appear in court in Atlanta for a hearing on a complaint that Obama isn't a natural-born citizen, can't be president, and can't appear on the Georgia presidential election ballot. The hearing is set for this Thursday.

The main stream media in America has been suspiciously quiet about this hearing, so quiet in fact, one would think the whole thing is a hoax. As usual, our biased liberal media shelters the president against any unpleasant publicity. One need not be a 'birther' to want facts about court hearings concerning our president. Obama Administration “Rigging” US Census By Counting Illegal Aliens

The Barack Obama administration is quietly in the process of rigging use of the US Census of 2010, which deliberately counted millions of illegal aliens, for the purpose of restructuring the apportionment of the US House of Representatives.

Accordingly, as candidates for Governor and Lieutenant Governor of one of the negatively affected states (Montana), Mr. Bob Fanning and I have joined with several others in becoming amici curiae in a pending federal lawsuit brought by the State of Louisiana against the US Secretary of Commerce, et al., which was filed January, 13, 2012 in the United States Supreme Court.

What has happened is, the US Census Bureau erroneously claims that it “‘is required by the U.S. Constitution count everyone living in this country, regardless of immigration or citizenship status.’” Accordingly, they have counted millions of illegal aliens in the 2010 Census and are using those figures to apportion the US House of Representatives. If this egregious misinterpretation of the US Constitution is allowed to stand, five states (Louisiana, Missouri, Montana, North Carolina, and Ohio) will lose representation in the US Congress to which they are lawfully entitled, while three states (California, Texas, and Florida) will be awarded additional representation in the US Congress to which they are not lawfully entitled. And, of course, this will also directly impact the makeup of the Electoral College, which ultimately elects the President of the United States.

Of course, this manipulation of the 2010 US Census also impacts the election of the US President, as those states that are granted more seats in the US Congress are also granted more votes in the Electoral College as the Electoral College is composed of a “Number of Electors, equal to the whole Number of Senators and Representatives to which the State may be entitled in the Congress. . . .” (Article. II. Section. I. Clause. 2. US Constitution). And, as everyone knows, under the US Constitution, it is the Electoral College that ultimately elects the President of the United States. Thus, the states of Louisiana, Missouri, Montana, North Carolina, and Ohio, will be unjustly denied their lawful votes in the Electoral College, while California, Texas, and Florida, are being unjustly granted unlawful votes in the Electoral College. Would it not be extraordinary if the margin by which President Obama is re-elected in the Electoral College would be provided by the manipulation of the census data under his control? Again, this would be an outrage!

In essence, the Obama administration is rigging the US Census to steal a congressional seat from the State of Montana. This rigging will keep Montana from having a second congressional representative. If the illegals in California, Texas, and Florida are not included, then Montana will receive two congressional seats and four electoral votes. Under Obama’s rigging plan, Montana will continue to have only one congressional seat and three electoral votes.

Considering the major media and even most “conservative” talking heads have said virtually nothing about this monstrous misallocation of constitutional government is just the latest example of how truly out of touch the people who are entrusted to inform the American people really are.

The plaintiff in this case is the State of Louisiana, which has now been joined and supported by amici U.S. Border Control, U.S. Border Control Foundation, U.S. Justice Foundation, Institute on the Constitution, Gun Owners of America, Inc., Gun Owners Foundation, English First, English First Foundation, Conservative Legal Defense and Education Fund, The Lincoln Institute for Research and Education, Public Advocate of the United States, Policy Analysis Center, Virginia Del. Bob Marshall, Oklahoma Rep. Charles Key, Maryland Del. Don Dwyer, Washington Rep. Matt Shea, Wyoming Sen. Kit Jennings, as well as Candidate for Governor of Montana, Bob Fanning, and Candidate for Lieutenant Governor of Montana, Chuck Baldwin.

Attorneys filing this brief before the US Supreme Court are Herbert W. Titus, William J. Olson, John S. Miles, Jeremiah L. Morgan (of the law firm of William J. Olson, P.C. of Vienna, Virginia) and Gary G. Kreep (of the U.S. Justice Foundation).

As citizens of the State of Montana, and as candidates for Governor and Lieutenant Governor of the State of Montana, Bob Fanning and I are outraged at this unconstitutional manipulation of the 2010 US Census, and the subsequent unconstitutional and unlawful misapportionment of the US House of Representatives. We are further outraged that our own governor, Brian Schweitzer (the incumbent Democrat governor who is term-limited out of office after the completion of his current term) has done nothing to prevent the people of the State of Montana from being denied the rightful seating of an additional US House member from the Montana delegation to Washington, D.C. He has not served as Montana’s watchman, to make certain that our State is being treated fairly by the Obama administration. Louisiana has been forced to go it alone, as the only State willing to bring this challenge. By not joining the lawsuit against the Obama administration, what Governor Schweitzer in essence is doing is allowing illegal aliens to deny the due representation of the citizens of Montana in Washington, D.C. This is an outrage!

It is a gross misinterpretation of the US Constitution to claim that the US Census is supposed to “count everyone living in this country.” Article. I. Section. I. Clause 3. as amended by Section. 2. of the 14th Amendment authorizes “a targeted decennial census of the ‘respective numbers’ of ‘the People’ of the several States, not a wholesale count of the numbers of persons found ‘living’ in the United States.” The term “the People” is a technical term used in the U.S. Constitution to refer to the polity, that is, the people who constituted the government and who are legal citizens of the nation. Only by such a tailored count can the constitutionally-authorized decennial census serve the purpose for which that census has been required–the apportionment of representation of the people of the several states in the U.S. House of Representatives.

“It is manifestly untrue that the decennial census ordained by the Constitution is to be taken without regard to a person’s ‘immigration or citizenship status.’ The decennial census is conducted for the apportionment of representation in the House of Representatives, the members of which are ‘chosen every second Year by the People of the several States.’ (Article. I. Section. 2. Clause. 1. US Constitution). The first sentence of the 14th Amendment establishes a symbiotic relationship between a person’s United States citizenship and that person’s State citizenship. Thus, whether a person is part of ‘the People’ of a State is largely, if not exclusively, dictated by a person’s ‘immigration or citizenship status.’ Any census that ignores that connection is fatally flawed.”

In the afore-mentioned lawsuit, we are asking the US Supreme Court to preserve the integrity of the US House of Representatives and Electoral College.

I can tell you that the people who want to disassemble constitutional government in this country are hoping that no one notices what the Obama administration is doing to manipulate the 2010 US Census to unlawfully reconstruct the US House of Representatives and Electoral College. Well, I can tell you, Bob Fanning and I (along with the other amici curiae supporting Louisiana in this lawsuit) are not going to let that happen!

I will be holding a press conference to blow the whistle on what is taking place to deny the people of the State of Montana (along with the people of the states of Louisiana, Missouri, North Carolina, and Ohio) their lawful representation in Washington, D.C. I am also using the influence and outreach of this column to alert the American people as to how the Obama administration is attempting to manipulate the US House of Representatives and Electoral College.

It is more than interesting also that the “anointed” establishment neocon Republican Montana gubernatorial candidate, Rick Hill, has, himself, not even bothered to alert the people of Montana to this travesty. Why not? Rick is a career politician who once served in the US House of Representatives from Montana. One would think he would want to protect the people of the State of Montana from this outrage. But he has said nothing! Plus, have you heard anything about this from any of the “conservative” talking heads on FOX News? No you haven’t! Why not? Why is it left to this column to alert you to this gross violation of constitutional government?

Billionaire George Soros predicted protests by the Occupy Wall Street will turn violent, while warning the U.S. financial system may collapse.

In an interview with Newsweek writer John Arlidge, Soros reportedly said riots on the streets of American cities are inevitable.

“‘Yes, yes, yes,’ he says, almost gleefully,” when asked about the prospect of Occupy turning violent, writes Arlidge.

Soros claimed the riots will “be an excuse for cracking down and using strong-arm tactics to maintain law and order, which, carried to an extreme, could bring about a repressive political system, a society where individual liberty is much more constrained, which would be a break with the tradition of the United States.”

“At times like these, survival is the most important thing,” Soros continued.

“I am not here to cheer you up. The situation is about as serious and difficult as I’ve experienced in my career,” Soros said.

“We are facing an extremely difficult time, comparable in many ways to the 1930s, the Great Depression. We are facing now a general retrenchment in the developed world, which threatens to put us in a decade of more stagnation, or worse,” he said.

“The best-case scenario is a deflationary environment. The worst-case scenario is a collapse of the financial system.”

In the interview, Soros claimed the Occupy Wall Street movement “is an inchoate, leaderless manifestation of protest.”

However, WND has repeatedly documented the billionaire’s many ties to Occupy, including how the group’s reported nerve center is staffed by professional agitators deeply linked to organizations funded by Soros.

Those groups, most prominent among them being the Tides Center, have been involved with Occupy since the anti-Wall Street movement’s inception.

Tides functions as a money tunnel in which major leftist donors provide large sums that are channeled to hundreds of radical groups.

The Tides-funded Adbusters magazine is reported to have come up with the Occupy Wall Street idea after Arab Spring protests toppled governments in Egypt, Libya and Tunisia. The Adbusters website serves as a central hub for Occupy’s planning.

The Tides-funded Ruckus Society has been providing direct-action training to Occupy protesters as well as official training resources, including manuals, to Occupy training groups. Ruckus, which helped spark the 1999 World Trade Organization riots in Seattle, was also listed as a “friend and partner” of the “Occupy Days of Action” in October.

SOPA and PIPA Postponed…But Not Cancelled

I am not a fan of big, over-the-top statements, but it is safe to say that the future of the internet is currently being decided. Will it remain a haven of free speech or will it become another tool of governmental and corporate control?

A “fight for the internet” is taking place. On January 19th, the FBI shut down the popular file sharing site Megaupload while anti-SOPA protests took to the streets and the world wide web (you might have noticed that Wikipedia’s blackout). In case you didn’t know, SOPA and PIPA give the US government unprecedented authority to shut down websites without prior notice (see the article I published about SOPA back in November for more information).
Seeing that an overwhelming majority of internet users oppose this legislation and that its potential enactment has caused nothing less than a major uproar in the internet world, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid used an old trick: He postponed the vote for SOPA, which was scheduled for January 24th, to a later date, hoping that the negative publicity surrounding the vote would die down. As you know, voting for ridiculous law in a context of general indifference is the elite’s favorite way of proceeding. It is up to us to stay vigilant, to not forget about this awful piece of legislation and to make sure our voices are heard until SOPA and PIPA are thrown in the garbage – where they belong. Senator Reid: PIPA Vote Postponed

The anti-SOPA Day of Protest ripples continue to spread. On Friday morning, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) put the brakes on a PROTECT IP Act (PIPA) cloture vote. The vote was originally scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 24.
“In light of recent events, I have decided to postpone Tuesday’s vote on the PROTECT IP Act,” said Reid in a statement Friday morning.
In a cloture vote, the Senate decides whether or not to end debate on a bill and bring it forward for a final up-or-down vote. For such a vote to be successful, three-fifths of the Senate (or 60 Senators) must vote in the positive.
Sen. Reid previously said that “we need to work on this and we’re going to — I will hope we can have a manager’s amendment when we get back here in a week or 10 days and move forward on this. It’s important that we try to do this on a fair basis and I’m going to do everything I can to get that done” during a Jan. 15 interview on NBC’s Meet the Press.
On Wednesday, major websites such as Wikipedia and Reddit went dark to protest PIPA and its sister bill in the House of Representatives, the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA). Facebook and Google, which came out against SOPA and PIPA in a public letter written late last year, provided users with information about the bills and contact information for elected officials. Google also launched an online petition, which gathered over 7 million signatures by Thursday morning.
SOPA and PIPA made it into the CNN-Southern Republican presidential debate Thursday night, with each candidate denouncing the bills to some extent.
Supporters of the two bills consider PIPA and SOPA necessary new tools in the fight against online piracy and copyright infringement. Opponents claim they give excessive power to copyright holders and the federal government, and that they risk making the Internet slower and less secure while also stifling online freedom of speech and digital innovation.

In an interview with CNSNews.com about his new book—“Ameritopia: The Unmaking of America”—Mark R. Levin said he believes America has already largely become “a post-constitutional country.”

The book, released Monday, compares the Utopian and unworkable schemes laid out by political philosophers from Plato to Thomas Hobbes with the vision of natural law, God-given rights, and individual liberty that inspired the Founding Fathers when they wrote the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution.
“Utopianism is not new,” Levin writes in “Ameritopia.” “It has been repackaged countless times—since Plato and before. It is as old as tyranny itself. In democracies, its practitioners legislate without end. In America, law is piled upon law in contravention and contradiction of the governing law—the Constitution.”
Levin’s verdict: Barack Obama and modern American liberals are firmly in the Utopian camp—pursuing a vision fundamentally at odds with limited government and human freedom.
“I believe to a great extent we now live in a post-constitutional country, where much of the Constitution is ignored or evaded,” Levin told CNSNews.com.
“What I want the readers to understand, what I want the public to understand is, this is not new and it’s going to destroy us,” said Levin. “It’s going to destroy us because it is an attack on the individual. It is an attack on the nature of human beings.”

Mark Levin: How are you, brother?
Terry Jeffrey: I am doing great. Thanks for doing this. You know, each of your first three bestsellers were very different books. "Men in Black" talked about how the Supreme Court was ignoring or distorting the Constitution. "Rescuing Sprite" was a personal story about a dog you rescued, and "Liberty and Tyranny" talked about the way liberals in America today are threatening our freedom. This book is more a look at the comparison of the pathological political philosophy of the left, of those who might impose a tyrannical government, and the political philosophy that animated the Founding Fathers. Why did you write this book?
Levin: Well, because "Liberty and Tyranny" laid out, in my view, the basics between conservatism and non-conservatism. And I try to keep these books under 300 pages, so people will actually read them, and so they're interesting, and so perhaps they may even influence somebody. And then I got to thinking: Well, it's not enough just to talk about the Founding Fathers. Where did the Founding Fathers get these ideas from? You know, they didn't just wake up one day and think about individual sovereignty and private property rights and natural law and God-given inalienable rights and so forth. So, I decided to dig.
Now, I had a sense for this, obviously. But I decided to dig further as well as address this concern that all believers in the American system have always had. I mean, including the greats--including Abraham Lincoln, and Joseph Story, and Ronald Reagan--which was this concern that tyranny threatens democracy. But what is this tyranny?
Other than just describing it at surface level, who's involved in it, where does this come from? And, frankly, I needed to figure that out for myself. So, that's why I decided to really dig deep and I think I found the answer, at least satisfying to me, which are these phony utopian notions of how man needs to be controlled and these model societies--going back probably before Plato--but I had to pick certain philosophers, who came up with certain model utopian ideas, to give examples of totalitarian regimes, which really brilliant men came up with, and to warn people today that we're headed on the same glide path.
Jeffrey: You started out with Plato's Republic, and you talk about Thomas More and you talked about Hobbes and you end up talking about Karl Marx.

You point out in the book that even Plato in creating this utopia he had in mind, admitted that it wouldn't work, that it basically was in contradiction to even what he understood about human nature. But when you finally get around to Marx and Engels, there you have true believers. And as I was reading your book--and it had been a while since I looked at The Communist Manifesto--I'm thinking: Well, am I reading the Democratic Party platform here or am I reading The Communist Manifesto? You talk about The Communist Manifesto talked about the abolition of the family, talked about putting all children in public schools as a means of indoctrination, centralization of credit in the hands of the state, a heavy and progressive income tax, an abolition of the right of inheritance, and everything a struggle between the bourgeoisie and the proletariat. Everything victims and the victimized, victimizers. Compare modern liberals in America today—
Levin: It’s upsetting isn’t it?
Jeffrey: --to this vision that Marx and Engels had in The Communist Manifesto?
Levin: Well, you know it’s interesting. When Obama was running for office and saying these things--sort of saying them and sometimes accidentally blurting them out--I would say on my radio show he is speaking Marx here. This whole phony, historic material dialectic that he created of the two classes constantly fighting each other--the bourgeoisie and the proletariat--in other words, the people with money and land and so forth, the capitalists today, and the workers, the laborers, was phony from day one. And yet it attracted all the miscreants and the malcontents, anybody who’s unhappy with existing society and so forth. And you can hear it in Obama today with the class warfare propaganda.
Jeffrey: Right--and Karl Marx really believed this though, right?
Levin: Well, Karl Marx really believed it and Engels really believed it, and obviously their followers, Lenin and Trotsky and Mao and the others really believed it. But the problem is this--and what I try to get into in the book is--whether it is radical egalitarianism, like More in Utopia, whether it is this two classes fighting with each other, this phony straw man argument that Marx and Engels come up with, whether it’s Plato’s Republic with this so-called ideal city where they decide who’s going to be what where and who’s going to do what where, or whether it’s Hobbes’s all powerful sovereignty, top-down authoritarian-type government--in our own country, we are abandoning constitutional republicanism.
I believe to a great extent we now live in a post-constitutional country, where much of the Constitution is ignored or evaded. And the utopians today, these statists who are promoting bigger, centralized, concentrated government, more power to them. It’s not that they’re sitting there saying I’m going to take from Plato and Hobbes and everyone, but they are taking from Plato and Hobbes. And what I want the readers to understand, what I want the public to understand is, this is not new and it’s going to destroy us. It’s going to destroy us because it is an attack on the individual. It is an attack on the nature of human beings. It is an attack on the civil society.
Jeffrey: Right, in your book, as I understand it, when you talk about Marx and Engels and The Communist Manifesto, they’re talking about a radical transformation of society—
Levin: Correct.
Jeffrey: --where they’re changing everything from the structure of the family, to how kids are taught from the time they’re born, there’s no private property, and to affect that transformation they have to trample individual liberty. It’s impossible to do it.

Levin: All of these societies are fantasies. They’re nightmares, but they’re fantasies. They’re somebody’s fantasy. They’re a philosopher’s fantasy. They’re people in power, it’s their fantasy. And what they all have in common is it is an attack on the nature of man, it is an attack on individual sovereignty, it is an attack on morality, it’s an attack on the civil society. And what I try to show in this book is this is a very, very serious mindset and it’s not the American mindset, and you can hear it in leftist politicians today--the way they talk, what they promote. And then I contrast with what I call Americanism, when we get to John Locke.
You see, John Locke was different than all those we just mentioned because the others were trying to figure out how to create this so-called perfect or more perfect society and impose it on people. John Locke said, ‘You know, what I want to try and figure out is what makes man tick? How does his mind work? How does he gather knowledge? Where does morality come from? Where do these things come from?’ You notice the difference? One makes assumptions: Humans need to be controlled, individuals acting in their own regard is problematic and should be shunned. WASHINGTON - The owner of the Atlanta Jewish Times weekly caused an uproar when he suggested that Israel consider “a hit” on US President Barack Obama “in order to preserve Israel’s existence” in case Iran obtains nuclear capabilities.
In his column, published last week, Andrew Adler laid out what he said were three options available to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in countering the threat posed by Iran’s nuclear program. One of the options was to “give the go-ahead for US-based Mossad agents to take out a president deemed unfriendly to Israel in order for the current vice-president to take his place, and forcefully dictate that the United States’ policy includes its helping the Jewish state obliterate its enemies.”
The other two options, according to Adler, are to attack Hezbollah and Hamas or defy the US – which he said is willing to let Israel “take a lethal bullet.”
According to Adler, who later apologized for his column, Obama has an “Alice in Wonderland” belief in diplomacy over force.
“Yes, you read ‘(option) three’ correctly. Order a hit on a president in order to preserve Israel’s existence. Think about it. If I have thought of this Tom Clancy-type scenario, don’t you think that this almost unfathomable idea has been discussed in Israel’s most inner circles?” He wrote.
Adler went on to ask: “How far would you go to save a nation comprised of 7 million lives – Jews, Christians and Arabs alike? You have got to believe, like I do, that all options are on the table.”
The publisher’s comments were harshly condemned by Jewish columnists and organizations.
The president and CEO of the National Jewish Democratic Council, David Harris, called the column “the height of irresponsibility,” “despicable” and “beyond the pale.”
“This episode demonstrates just how low our political discourse has sunk,” said Harris.
Dov Wilker, director of AJC Atlanta, said Adler’s proposals are “shocking beyond belief.”
“While we acknowledge Mr. Adler’s apology, we are flabbergasted that he could ever say such a thing in the first place. How could he even conceive of such a twisted idea?” said Wilker. “Mr. Adler surely owes immediate apologies to President Obama, as well as to the State of Israel and his readership, the Atlanta Jewish community.”
Opher Aviran, Israel’s consul general to the southeastern United States, said he was “shocked” by Adler’s “insane” and “immoral” statement.
On Friday Adler told the Jewish Telegraphic Agency “I very much regret it, I wish I hadn’t made reference to it at all.”
He said he would publish an apology in his next edition, and that reaction from readers had been overwhelmingly negative.

Chief Scientists of the Air Force usually spend their time trying to figure out how to build better satellites or make jets go insanely fast. Which makes Dr. Mark Maybury, today’s chief scientist, a bit of an outlier. He’d like to build a set of sensors that peer into people’s souls — and forecast wars before they erupt.

Maybury calls his vision “Social Radar.” And the comparison to traditional sensors is no accident, he tells Danger Room. “The Air Force and the Navy in this and other countries have a history of developing Sonar to see through the water, Radar to see through the air, and IR [infrared] to see through the night. Well, we also want to see into the hearts and the minds of people,” says Maybury, who serves as the top science advisor to the Air Force’s top brass.

But Social Radar won’t be a single sensor to discover your secret yearnings. It’ll be more of a virtual sensor, combining a vast array of technologies and disciplines, all employed to take a society’s pulse and assess its future health. It’s part of a broader Pentagon effort to master the societal and cultural elements of war — and effort that even many in the Defense Department believe is deeply flawed. First step: mine Twitter feeds for indications of upset.

“We’re supposed to provide ISR,” says Maybury, using the military acronym for intelligence surveillance and reconnaissance. “But our constituents [say], ‘Don’t just give me a weather forecast, Air Force, give me an enemy movement forecast.’ What’s that about? That’s human behavior. And so [we need to] understand what motivates individuals, how they behave.”

Maybury, dressed in his preferred outfit — a double-breasted black blazer and silver, rectangular glasses — discussed his Social Radar notion as part of a 90-minute interview in his Pentagon office, his native Massachusetts accent growing thicker as the discussion drew on. An artificial intelligence and language processing specialist, he’s been working for the military, on and off, since the mid-1980s. But as the counterinsurgencies in Iraq and Afghanistan wore on, he found himself drawn further and further into what he calls the “human domain” of combat.

In the last few weeks, the Pentagon may have downgraded counterinsurgency in its strategy revamp. But the need to spot potential troublespots early — and to understand how American actions might impact those restive populations — clearly isn’t going away. U.S. special forces are still training foreign armies (and impacting the people of those countries). The Shadow Wars continue — from Yemen to Pakistan to Mexico. And the geopolitical chess match with China will require deep knowledge of all of the pieces on the board.

Using biometrics, Social Radar will identify individuals, Maybury noted in his original 2010 paper on the topic for the government-funded MITRE Corporation. Using sociometrics, it will pinpoint groups. Facebook timelines, political polls, spy drone feeds, relief workers’ reports, and infectious disease alerts should all pour into the Social Radar, Maybury writes, helping the system keep tabs on everything from carbon monoxide levels to literacy rates to consumer prices. And “just as radar needs to overcome interference, camouflage, spoofing and other occlusion, so too Social Radar needs to overcome denied access, censorship, and deception,” he writes.

It sounds almost laughably ambitious. And Maybury agrees the notion may be more of a long-term “organizing metaphor” than a particular program. But the building blocks are already being set in place, Maybury insists. In his original paper, Maybury notes that there are efforts underway at the MITRE Corporation that could help make a Social Radar real. For instance, there’s the “Forum and Blog Threaded Comment Analysis (FABTAC)” project, which analyzes online discussions “for intelligence and operations.” There’s “Exploring Soft Power in Weblogistan,” which developed “foundational Farsi and Dari language processing tools to enable analysis of large volumes [of] social media content.”

Most importantly, the language processing specialist says, new tools are coming online to perform what’s called “sentiment analysis” — identification of whether a particular status update is positive or negative. Analyze those sentiments in the aggregate, to see if people are generally content, and associate those feelings with particular geographic regions, and Maybury believes you’ve got the start of a Social Radar. He’s even developed a mock-up of a “Social Radar” desktop, complete with a “heat map” for tracking relative happiness.

The Air Force’s chief scientist isn’t alone in this effort. Over three years, the Pentagon has spent more $125 million on dozens of projects meant to better quantify, model — and, eventually, foresee — the human, social, cultural, and behavioral dimensions of conflict. Several of these “HSCB” systems are now in use in U.S. military units across the globe. Darpa’s Integrated Crisis Early Warning System (ICEWS), for one, is being expanded to cover six of the Defense Department’s geographic commands, covering 175 different countries. Yet within the Pentagon, there are deep divisions over the program’s efficacy.

“Project supporters have marshaled evidence to demonstrate the validity of its approach,” notes one recent internal review of HCSB projects, “while critics have pointed to deficiencies in the scorekeeping method that exaggerate the accuracy of ICEWS forecasts.”

Well-respected retired generals and top military officials have rejected as hopeless the idea that human societies can be effectively modeled, or that human behavior can really be forecasted. “They are smoking something they shouldn’t be,” retired Lt. Gen. Paul Van Riper famously quipped to Science magazine when this push began.

“We do better than human estimates, but not by much,” one Pentagon-funded predictioneer admitted.

Maybury is quick to push back on the criticism. “Just like nobody could imagine seeing through the night or seeing through water, nobody can imagine seeing attitudes. And actually, in my view, that’s very much a future reality,” he says.

And Social Radar is only the leading edge of the Air Force’s effort in the area. The service is boosting its foreign language skills. Maybury wants his more traditional sensors to get better at spotting human behavior. “If I’ve got a radar combined with an [standard camera] combined with an IR, maybe I can tell what kind of action a human is performing,” he says.

The Air Force Research Lab is funding a study by San Francisco State University psychology professor (and former U.S. Olympic Judo Team coach) David Matsumoto to find “universal markers of deception.”

And in a presentation about the Air Force’s “contributions” to HCSB efforts, Maybury even lists “Metropolitan Area Persistent Sensing” — city-wide spying — as well as “micro munitions that limit collateral damage” and “non lethal directed energy weapons.” Accompanying the words is a picture of the weapon from the Air Force’s allegedly non lethal arsenal. It’s a ray gun that shoots invisible cousins of microwaves which make people feel like they’re being blasted by an open furnace.

Maybury admits these weapons are not, strictly speaking, part of the Defense Department push to better understand the human aspects of conflict. But “preservation of human life is a premium when one is attempting to generate support of the local population, stability and security while not increasing grievances,” he emails.

Perhaps a fully-functioning Social Radar will be able to gauge the impact of such a weapon on people’s allegiances. But it’s worth noting that, in 2010, when the heat ray was sent to Afghanistan for testing, commanders there shipped it back home without squeezing off a shot.

“I am appalled that you would begin a presidential debate on a topic like that,” Gingrich told the moderator. “To take an ex-wife and make it, two days before the primary, a significant question in a presidential campaign, is as close to despicable as anything I can imagine.”

I watched with admiration as Newt Gingrich, excoriated CNN and ABC news for leading with a story from his X-wife only two days before the South Carolina primary. The crowd gave him a standing ovation. Bully for you Newt. Why did John King choose to open a debate with a question that has little to do with where Gingrich is positioned in his life now? To my dismay, when I scanned the media reports of the debate I found not one mention of Ron Paul anywhere, the only quote from Paul, was that he was being ignored during the debate. Why is it that the media elite control what the news is, what we see and hear? Who decides what is important? Why is it that these weasels choose to release a 15-year-old story about Gingrich and his divorce, in spite of the fact that Gingrich’s two daughters came to their father’s defense? Duplicity? Why is it that Barry Soretero and his association with characters like Jeremiah Wright and Bill Ayers, are down-played by the same Weasels-in-the-stream media? How come Mr. O gets a pass – and by the way you will notice that O was on every magazine possible during the last election – and Republicans don’t?

Where is the outrage of the American people who are held hostage by the Federal Reserve as Congress votes to once again extend the debt ceiling another 1.2 TRILLION dollars? Where is the outrage that congress passes a law that suspends the right of due process, that essentially does away with our constitutional rights, that suspends our rights of Haibeus Corpus, that ignores what our ancestors fought for in the American Revolution. Where is the outrage when an American citizen can be arrested for spitting on the side-walk, when grandmothers are stripped searched by the TSA, when web-sites are shut down by a government who somehow deems them a threat, a government with more power than it has a right to have, by the Constitution? Why arent’ people taking to the streets when our government hands out almost half a billion dollars to Solyndra, which then, before it bring any of its products to market declares bankruptcy? We as a people have grown soft. We have become cowards, afraid to stand up for what is right. We have lost our sense of outrage. While I am not endorsing Newt Gingrich, I applaud his verve and his passion when confronted by these morons who demean the American people and the election process, with questions as Gingrich declared, is as close to despicable as anything I can imagine.

In closing today’s post: I don’t agree with everything that Gingrich stands for. If he is the nominee I will vote for him in hope that he will honor our constitution, as Obama has demonstrated that he does not. However, Gingrich has stated that he wants to strengthen the Patriot Act, and if true that is more big government which is what we don’t need. America is more than likely about to collapse into an orchestrated, financial chaos, for when the Euro defaults, the dollar will be next. We are in a depression, not a recession, as the housing market is flat-lined, unemployment holds just under 10%, foreclosures continue at record levels, and many people have a sense of dread. We need to change course, we need to stand up and cry foul. We need to stop buying magazines and looking at shows that feature an endless stream of clowns that feed us bread and circus. How can we affect some of these changes? We can pray that our country would return to its Christian roots. We can call for a national day of fasting and prayer to bring about real change. When and if we do this we will hear the usual nonsense about separation of church and state, which is nowhere in our constitution. We can vote out of office our officials who will not uphold the constitution. The Tea party sent a message to Washington, but they have slacked off and lost momentum. “At Illuminati Pictures, ‘guerrilla filmmaking’ takes on a whole new meaning,” writes Molotov Mitchell, a fact that nearly prompted a police shootout while filming his daring new project, “Gates of Hell.”
As Mitchell explains in a new WND commentary, he had been filming a sequence depicting a rooftop terrorist attack, when real police heard the gunfire and rushed to the scene.
“I had been shooting blank rounds at actors with a camera attached to the rifle itself,” Mitchell explains. “The AK-47 has a distinct report, a round cannon sound, and it’s very loud.
“The police heard that, for sure, I thought to myself, and yes, they had,” he continues. “My other partners … were running back in my direction, when I first heard the sirens. I rushed to get back to the minivan and managed to stash the rifle, just as two patrol cars pinned us in, one from behind and one in front.”
Mitchell and his crew were in Cary, N.C., filming “Gates of Hell,” a political thriller from the future in which a band of black power terrorists called the “Zulu 9″ wage guerrilla war on abortion providers for what they call “decades of black genocide.”

Mitchell explains, “What would happen if black Americans rediscovered that Planned Parenthood, in cahoots with the federal government, had placed nearly 80 percent of its clinics in minority neighborhoods for a reason? What would happen if the black community learned that the Black Panthers originally opposed abortion as a form of racist population control? What would happen if they learned that Jessie Jackson once told Jet magazine that ‘abortion is genocide’ or that he changed his tune when Planned Parenthood started donating to his political career? Is it possible that a few of them might want revenge? And if they chose to take it, how would their violent actions affect the abortion conversation in America?”
After police arrived on the set, Mitchell explains, “A young, female officer was out of her vehicle and staying behind the driver’s side door. She seemed relatively calm considering the scene; her left hand was on a radio attached to her shoulder and her right hand was holding the top of her door.
‘It’s OK,’ I yelled to her, with a big friendly smile,” he writes. “I outstretched my arms and beamed, ‘I’m a film director!’
“For reasons still unknown,” he continues, “that ordinarily ingratiating set of words produced the opposite effect in this young woman, who suddenly developed a wild look in her eye as she reached for her sidearm.”
Mitchell recounts with gratitude that he was not shot that day and was able to “smooth out” the situation with the alarmed officers.
“Gates of Hell” is now available on DVD in the WND Superstore and on the film’s website. Limited screenings will also hit theaters in different cities at different times this year.

'Occupy' protesters suspected of throwing smoke bomb over White House fence

January 17, 2012: As Congress returns from its winter recess, protesters aligned with the Occupy Wall Street movement demonstrate on Capitol Hill in Washington to decry the influence of corporate money in politics.

WASHINGTON – An apparent smoke bomb was thrown over the fence of the White House as hundreds of Occupy protesters massed outside the gates.

The crowds were dispersed Tuesday night, and U.S. Secret Service spokesman George Ogilvie says there were no arrests in the incident.

The Obamas were at dinner celebrating Michelle Obama's birthday, but they have since returned to the White House without difficulty.

The tense scene outside the White House follows an earlier protest on the West Lawn of the Capitol, in which several hundred protesters affiliated with the Occupy Wall Street movement decried the influence of corporate money in politics and voice myriad other grievances.

Organizers had touted the rally, known as Occupy Congress, as the largest national gathering of Occupy protesters to date and secured a permit that would have allowed up to 10,000 people to participate. By mid-afternoon, the protest appeared to have fallen far short of those goals.

Still, participants said they were optimistic about the strength of the Occupy movement, which began in September when protesters pitched tents in a lower Manhattan park. The movement has since spread to dozens of cities, including Washington. While many cities have moved to evict the protesters, the National Park Service has allowed encampments to remain in two public squares near the White House.

"I'm encouraged," said Jon Wynn, 63, of North Carolina, who traveled to Washington to attend the protest and visit friends. "There's energy here, even if there's not a whole lot of people."

While the rally was mostly peaceful, there were some scuffles between police and protesters along walkways leading to the Capitol. By mid-afternoon Tuesday, four people had been arrested -- U.S. Capitol Police said -- one for allegedly assaulting a police officer and three accused of crossing a police line.

This is just crushing. We are relinquishing our most cherished freedoms, our unalienable rights, with nary a whimper. What is wrong with everyone?

A talk on Islamic law and human rights by NSS Council Member Anne Marie Waters at Queen Mary College, London was cancelled at the last minute because of a Muslim who threatened everyone who came. The event was scheduled for January 16. Right before it started, a Muslim came in, filmed everyone in the room, and"said that he knew who everyone was, where they lived and if he heard anything negative about the Prophet, he would track them down. Not a whimper."

The man also filmed students in the foyer and threatened to murder them and their families. On leaving the building, he joined a large group of men, apparently there to support him. Students were told by security to stay in the lecture theatre for their own safety.
Jennifer Hardy, President of Queen Mary Atheism Society, who organised the event said: "This event was supposed to be an opportunity for people of different religions and perspectives to debate, at a university that is supposed to be a beacon of free speech and debate.
"Only two complaints had been made to the Union prior to the event, and the majority of the Muslim students at the event were incredibly supportive of it going ahead. These threats were an aggressive assault on freedom of speech and the fact that they led to the cancellation of our talk was severely disappointing for all of the religious and non-religious students in the room who wanted to engage in debate."
The police were contacted about the incident.

The organisers of the event, the National Federation of Atheist, Humanist and Secular Student Societies called the police and the event was unfortunately cancelled.
On reflection of the incident, I am left wondering what exactly we could have done. I would love to say that we stood up to him and carried on bravely in a valiant defence of free speech, but it was a frightening experience and I know that people felt genuinely threatened and upset. In any case, is it the role of speakers and students to face off against potentially violent Islamists in defence of our free speech, risking our safety in the process? Just whose job is it to defend freedom of speech and can we be expected to fight for it when the state and other powers refuse to back us up?
Question: can you remember the last time you heard the Government – or any political party – give a robust and dogged defence of free speech? No, neither can I. But there have been plenty of opportunities.
Take the Danish cartoon affair for example. Look at the pathetic response of the British Government at the time; "There is freedom of speech, we all respect that ... But there is not any obligation to insult or to be gratuitously inflammatory. I believe that the republication of these cartoons has been unnecessary. It has been insensitive. It has been disrespectful and it has been wrong." Even the UN said it would investigate whether the cartoonists were racists. How can we expect people in a university lecture hall to stand up to violent threats when this is the reaction of our leaders? The message is very clear – don't insult religion. And if you do, and you get in to trouble for it, you have only yourself to blame (or "don't come crying to us"?)
Freedom of speech needs to be defended from above. We need prosecution and punishment of those intent on frightening people into staying silent. Until the state speaks out and makes it clear to the likes of this guy that this behaviour is not acceptable – no excuses, no apologies – these things will continue to happen and more and more people will be frightened in to shutting up. We can then say goodbye to freedom for good."

REPORT: IRAN PLANNING ATTACKS ON U.S. TARGETS IN TURKEY

The Turkish newspaper Zaman reported Tuesday that Turkish intelligence has warned that Iran’s Revolutionary Guard is planning attacks on the American embassy and American consulates throughout the country.

According to the report, Turkey’s security forces have warned police in all 81 districts throughout the country, telling them to remain alert and vigilant.

The report states that according to Turkish intelligence, it is likely that a cell of the Quds Unit of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard is planning to break into the U.S. Embassy or one of its consulates. The intelligence further stated that the cell is planning on staying at a five-star hotel in the city in which the attack is being planned, cautioning forces to focus on foreigners residing in those hotels.
Moreover, the report states that Hezbollah may take part in such attacks against Americans.
According to Turkish intelligence, Iran is attempting to support the operations of small, illegal Turkish organizations in the wake of Turkey’s decision to establish a NATO radar within its territory, and due to Ankara’s condemnation of the Assad regime in Syria.

On January 2nd, Alan Colmes on Fox News mocked Rick Santorum for bringing their critically ill newborn son, Gabriel, into the world and then bringing him home. Gabriel died 16 years ago and Karen Santorum wrote a heart-rending book, Letters to Gabriel, which describes how the couple dealt with the grief of his death. Mother Teresa wrote the Forward for the book.

Although Colmes has quickly retreated from those remarks, his crudeness shows how the Left really thinks. When Sarah Palin brings Trig, a child with Downs Syndrome, into the world and he is cherished and loved, the Left spins its head – why not just waste the kid before he was born? – This mockery did not end with the 2008 campaign: Family Guy in 2010 made fun of Trig and in April another Leftist goon mocked the young child on his third birthday. The Left's Heart of Darkness is so dreadful that appalling bile seems normal to its minions until normal, moral people object.
Less noticed in the Fox News interview is Colmes statement that Santorum is also crazy because he thinks that consensual sex between unmarried people was wrong. What offends Colmes and the Left is adherence to the traditional moral values of Christianity, Judaism, Islam and most of the world's historic metaphysical value systems. Santorum has not said that fornication is as great a sin as adultery, but he believes that sex should be confined within a marriage.
Does the Left grasp just how much human misery it has caused by promoting the chic fashion that promiscuity has caused? Do its disciples not grasp the horrors of the sexual revolution, the millions of abortions, huge chunks of America's babies born out of wedlock, a huge rise in sexually transmitted diseases and a general collapse in the nuclear family? Do people like Alan Colmes really believe that thoughtful politicians should speak in favor of sexual promiscuity?
How high does our rate of teenage suicide have to go before Leftists like Colmes grasp that the values which most Americans have historically held are not ignorant but rather wise and that the grotesque experiment of sexual wantonness? Many of our teenagers are drowning in drugs and booze. Their media idols lead horrific lives which often end in early death. How splintered and lonely, how atomized and pathetic do the lives of tens of millions of our countrymen have to become before we grasp that rejecting moral values has grave personal consequences.
Is it not clear that we can't go on like this? All we love, all we cherish, all we hope for is spiraling down a long snaky drain into the Leftist Heart of Darkness. The planned economy, the planned social life built upon the precepts of scientific materialism, the Brave New World of people like Alan Colmes, fits together in a single awful theme: we, the Left that is, have supplanted God and all the outdated values He prescribed at Sinai, in Galilee, and throughout the Judeo-Christian world.
Reality, viewed through the long death march of Leftism in practice over the last 50 years, shows that transcendent moral principles cannot be trumped by our imagined cleverness. Instead of making Heaven we have opened new doors of Hell. Conservatives sometimes get too distracted by dollars and deficits and debt. These matter, of course: they matter a great deal in political life. But the deconstruction of the American economy is a consequence, not a cause, of our fundamental problem, which is moral.
The road back requires first of all that politicians who are asked to cure social problems be allowed to tell the truth about why these problems exist. The values given us from above are beyond the reach of Leftist pigmies, and the laws prescribed for us by God have definite and absolute consequences which ripple throughout our lives and those we touch.
Most of us secretly know that the hedonistic and atheistic system foisted upon our culture by Leftist bosses is a suicide pill. Let us hope – better, let us pray – that those men and women who carry the banner of conservatism into political combat have the courage to speak that too often unspoken truth.

Russian Missile Forces Hold High Alert Drills

Russia’s Strategic Missile Forces are holding a series of exercises to practice putting road-mobile missile systems on high alert, SMF spokesman Col. Vadim Koval said.

The exercises involve Topol (SS-25 Sikle), Topol-M (SS-27 Sickle B) and Yars (RS-24) mobile systems stationed in central Russia and Siberia.
“SMF units armed with Topol, Topol-M and Yars road-mobile missile systems will practice patrolling, camouflaging and launch preparation procedures during high alert drills from January 16 to February 3,” Koval told reporters on Monday.
The SMF are planning to hold over 100 tactical drills in the first half of 2012.
As of January 2012, the SMF operated at least 162 mobile Topol systems, 18 mobile Topol-M and 15 mobile Yars systems.

NY Schools Monitor Fat Kids…Even at Home

Some New-York schools have decided to strap fat kids with devices that monitor them 24/7. The device collects all kinds of information from the students and sends them to a database that can be consulted by school officials and such. This was apparently done without the parent’s consent and represents an unprecedented intrusion in student’s private lives. Some might say “Well its in an effort to fight obesity and blah blah blah”. I say: 1- Its mostly an effort to make money for the company that makes these things 2- these kinds of privacy violations are always “justified” by a bogus “good cause” and 3- Why don’t we monitor the fat teachers at the school too? And the fat principal? And the fat lunch lady? And the kids’ fat parents? You see where that could lead. Here’s an article from the NY Post.

A group of Long Island students will soon be wearing controversial electronic monitors that allow school officials to track their physical activity around the clock.
The athletics chair for the Bay Shore schools ordered 10 Polar Active monitors, at $90 a pop, for use starting this spring. The wristwatchlike devices count heartbeats, detect motion and even track students’ sleeping habits in a bid to combat obesity.
The information is displayed on a color-coded screen and gets transmitted to a password-protected Web site that students and educators can access.
The devices are already in use in school districts in St. Louis and South Orange, NJ — and have raised privacy concerns among some parents and observers.
But Ted Nagengast, the Bay Shore athletics chair, said, “It’s a great reinforcement in fighting the obesity epidemic. It tells kids, in real time, ‘Am I active? Am I not active?’ We want to give kids the opportunity to become active.”
The monitors are distributed by Polar Electro, of Lake Success, LI, the US division of a Finland firm.
In the South Orange-Maplewood School District, where earlier versions of the devices have been used for two years, upper-grade students’ marks in phys ed are based in part on heart-rate monitors and activity sensors.
Teachers use hand-held computers to collect data from each student’s wrist monitor during class, then upload the information to the school computer system for storage and long-term tracking.
But privacy advocates and parents worry that schools are using electronic monitors in phys ed without families’ knowledge or consent.
“I didn’t even know it was going on, and I’m active in the school,” said Beth Huebner, of St. Louis.
Her son, a fourth-grader, wore a Polar Active monitor in class without her OK last fall at Ross Elementary School.
“We have gotten no information about the Web-site security or where the data will go,” Huebner said.
“When you get into monitoring people’s biological vital signs, that’s a pretty intrusive measurement,” said Jay Stanley, of the American Civil Liberties Union. “There are key privacy interests at play.”
At the very least, says Stanley, parents must have a say in how long the data will be stored and who will have access to it and schools must obtain parents’ consent.
“A program like this should only be voluntary. Nobody should be forced to reveal biological indicators,” he said.
“It’s all about secondary use,” said Virginia Rezmierski, an expert on information technology and privacy at the University of Michigan.
“Does the data pass along with the child from school to school? When will insurance companies want to get access to it? Will a school want to medicate a child that the monitor identifies as hyperactive? It’s potentially very dangerous ground.”

DSA is working hard to sustain ‘Occupy’ over the winter in readiness for a major “spring offensive” largely directed at Republican controlled state capitols as they struggle to address massive budget problems.

Writing in the latest issue of Democratic Left, DSA leader and Temple University political science professor Joseph Schwartz, explicitly calls for DSA to connect “Occupy” more to the mainstream left in order to use their combined muscle against responsible state governments come spring.

The Occupy movement forced the media talking heads to take a break from their obsessive concern with a recession-induced budget deficit to acknowledge the devastating social effects of 30 years of rampant growth in inequality…
But will this shift in political focus continue? Only if DSA activists and other progressives help Occupy sustain itself over the winter. Come late winter and early spring, the fight over proposed state and local budgets will reinvigorate the disastrous elite narrative that we must “cut” our way out of the recession.
As brute state force, combined with harshwinter weather, forces Occupy out of its public encampments, the move inside may give it time for self reflection and to plan a spring offensive. ..
In the coming months, Occupy will have a unique opportunity to link up with community groups and state and local employees fighting another vicious round of budget cuts.
Occupy has implicitly advanced another big demand: that the economy serve human needs rather than human beings serving the needs of economic elites. As federal, state, and local budgetary policies reflect the contours of power in society, if Occupy this spring joins the fight for humane state, local, and federal tax, spending, and investment policies, it will be challenging the distribution of power in our society…
This spring Occupy should move to the front lawns and rotundas of state capitol buildings to demand a change in state budget policies – and to demand federal government aid to states and localities.

“Occupy” has been a huge focus of DSA activity in recent months, a commitment that shows no sign of waning.
At DSA’s November 2011 biennial conference in Washington DC, delegates passed a resolution confirming their commitment to the OWS movement, while “suggesting in the spirit of solidarity,” a slate of “political demands” for the anarchic movement – all conveniently in line with current DSA policy.

The first offered direction on how DSA should support the Occupy Wall Street movement. Delegates approved continuing to embrace the movement, as DSA members have done without hesitation nationwide, while suggesting in the spirit of solidarity a series of political demands that could give the movement a coherent political orientation.
These included a public jobs program; bank nationalization; Medicare for all; the forgiveness of student debt; an end to foreclosures; substantial investment in clean energy; a progressive income and corporate tax structure; a tax on all speculative financial transactions; and the immediate enactment of worker-friendly labor law reform legislation.

DSA and our allies need to hunker down for the winter and plan for the long haul. Now is the time to organize! Occupy must sustain its amazing energy, perhaps in a different form, and build toward a spring offensive that will take the fight straight to the 1%.
DSA will do its part by engaging in a number of activities in the coming months. Locals around the country will fight state and local budget cuts supported by Republicans and far too many Democrats.I call on every DSAer to take responsibility for recruiting at least one new member, and to participate in whatever Occupy actions might be happening in your community this winter (if there isn’t one, organize it!).

DSA understand that social movements do not grow in a linear fashion. OWS leader and DSA “economic crisis group” member Chris Maisano quotes socialist icon Frances Fox Piven in the latest Democratic Left:

“It’s also true that when I say I think we may be on the cusp, at the beginning of a another period of social protest and [Occupy Wall Street] is the sign, I don’t think that social protest works as a little explosion and gets bigger and bigger and bigger and bigger. It doesn’t happen that way. It’s much more interrupted, dispersed, there are periods of discouragement – 1959-1960 the civil rights movement people thought it was over, after 1962 in Albany, Georgia – this movement is going to be like that too.”

Maisano then goes on to propose the “next phase of the struggle“:

As mayors and police forces move in an apparently coordinated fashion against Occupy encampments in cities around the country, we would do well to keep Piven’s sage advice in the back of our minds. It would be easy to interpret the wave of evictions as a defeat, as cause for depression, demoralization, and demobilization. But such a pessimistic assessment couldn’t be more misguided.
The Zuccotti Park encampment in lower Manhattan and its offshoots around the country were enormously successful. They served their purpose, and it’s time to move on to the next phase of the struggle. In a certain sense eviction from the park may be a good thing, particularly if it forces the movement to continue and expand its community outreach efforts; take up specific demands and deepen its involvement in local struggles (particularly around foreclosures/evictions); and establish new occupations in institutional settings like college campuses or – dare we hope? – workplaces…
While the 1% and its political allies may take heart in the wave of evictions, the genie is out of the bottle and it won’t be jammed back in. The processes that began in and around the encampments will not come to a halt, especially when we consider the fact that most of the important organizing is now done by working groups operating primarily outside those specific physical spaces.
If unions and community groups continue to offer activists spaces and staging areas to use over the winter, then we will almost certainly see a resurgence of the movement in the spring, when states and cities around the country will propose another round of massive cuts to education, health care, and other critical public services that will put masses of people into motion. The occupation and defense of public spaces will be complemented by the occupation and defense of public services – schools, libraries, firehouses, community centers – a turn which could have the added benefit of broadening the social composition of the movement and giving it deeper roots in local communities.

Maisano goes on to invoke the name of Marxist revolutionary Rosa Luxemburg, as he reveals that “Occupy” is destined to become a much broader social movement – one that may be around for decades and one that most certainly has socialist revolution as its goal.

“Occupy” does not signify a specific encampment or even a specific tactic to be used in the course of mass struggle. Here, we should take inspiration and guidance from the writings of Rosa Luxemburg, who analyzed the nature of popular movements in The Mass Strike, her classic (and highly relevant) essay on the lessons of the first Russian revolution of 1905.
“It is absurd to think of the mass strike as one act, one isolated action,” she writes. “The mass strike is rather the indication, the rallying idea, of a whole period of the class struggle lasting for years, perhaps for decades.”
Change the phrase “mass strike” to “occupation,” and it becomes difficult to determine whether these words were written in 1906 or 2011. The interlocking political, economic, and social dynamics that summoned the occupations into existence and fuel the movement’s grievances will not, and cannot, be solved within the parameters of the present state of affairs.
The cause of the 99% is the rallying point for a generation, a movement worthy of our commitment, our struggle, and even our joy.
Our problems aren’t going away any time soon. Neither are we.

The mass protests of the 1930s and 1960s did not rise and fall in a year. They were grown, sustained and nurtured over several years by the communist and socialist’s movements of the day. They were directed at achieving certain social reforms and were relentlessly expanded by a core of committed Marxist cadre, until the bulk of their demands were met.
OWS will follow the same pattern. This is just the beginning. The big difference is that today’s activists will not be satisfied with liberal social reform. These people believe they can achieve full blown socialist revolution – the end of capitalism is within their grasp. Unless they are treated as the serious national security threat that they are, they will have a very good chance of achieving their goal.

Russia has given Iran its bear hug and warns Israel and the West that an attack on Tehran would be considered an attack on Moscow. The threat heightens the prospect of World War III in the event of a military strike on Iran.

“Iran is our neighbor,” Russia's outgoing ambassador to NATO, Dmitry Rogozin, told reporters in Brussels. “And if Iran is involved in any military action, it’s a direct threat to our security.”
Kremlin Security Council head Nikolai Patrushev accused Israel of provoking the United States towards war against Iran, the Russian Interfax news agency reported Friday. “But at the same time, we believe that any country has the right to have what it needs to feel comfortable, including Iran," he added.
Rogozin warned on Friday that more attacks on Iran could cause "a scorching Arab Summer."
Russia also has come to the defense of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, warning Western nations not to intervene in Syria with military forces. Russia is a major arms supplier to Syria and has a heavy investment in Iran’s nuclear facilities.
Japan also is drifting towards Iran, backtracking from its promise last week to back American sanctions aimed at persuading Iran to halt its unsupervised nuclear development.
Last week’s assassination of an Iranian nuclear scientist has aroused more “Death to America” and “Death to Israel” protest rallies in Iran, where the scientist was buried on Friday.
Iranian state radio said the 32-year-old scientist was involved with enriched uranium, a key ingredient for a nuclear weapon.

The and Saudi and Qatari foreign ministers, Prince Saud al-Faisal and Sheikh Hamad al-Thani, spent two days on Jan. 10-11 in Washington talking to the US president. The contents of their talks were kept under tight wraps. Friday, British premier David Cameron suddenly turned up in Riyadh for talks with Saudi King Abdullah and Crown Prince Nayef.
Discussions on military preparations centering on Iran inevitably concern the need for urgent action to halt the unending carnage in Syria, Iran's close ally.
Thursday, the Russian National Security Adviser Nikolai Patrushev, one of Prime Minister Vladimir Putin's closest advisers, said ominously: "We are receiving information that NATO members and some Persian Gulf States working under the 'Libyan scenario' intend to move from indirect intervention in Syria to direct military intervention."
Moscow has consistently spoken out against any foreign intervention in the Syrian conflict – or even tough UN sanctions.
Russia's NATO ambassador Dmitry Rogozin has suggested more than once that the West would use a military adventure in Syria as the jumping-off point for an attack on Iran.
Another sign that Syria is under the military eye of the West came from an indiscreet comment Israel's Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Benny Gantz made Tuesday, Jan. 10 in a briefing to a Knesset panel. Israel, he said, is preparing to absorb members of Bashar Assad's Alawite sect after his downfall.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – A federal judge has ordered the immediate removal of a prayer mural displayed in the auditorium of a Rhode Island public high school.

Teenage atheist student Jessica Ahlquist had sued Cranston city and Cranston High School West officials, demanding they remove the banner because it promotes a religion.

She calls it offensive to non-Christians.

City officials claimed the mural is a historical artifact from the school's early days and serves no religious purpose. The prayer encourages students to strive academically. It begins with the words "Our Heavenly Father" and ends with "Amen."

A senior U.S. District Court judge on Wednesday ruled in the atheist student's favor.

The student has 20 days to file counsel fees and costs. City officials will have 10 days to respond. The court will enter judgment after these issues are resolved.

Trump’s Miss USA Contest Promotes “Progressive” Lesbianism

The more than 400 contestants in the Miss California USA and Miss Teen California USA state pageant "will emphasize individuality and push the envelope even further," says Keith Lewis, co-executive of the annual flesh flash. "This year's event will be bigger and reflect the progressive attitudes of the contestants."

Push the envelope even further? Considering the contest’s controversial pornified leather-and-lace photo shoots of the recent past, one might expect that the producer of Donald Trump’s yearly strumpet strut may have in mind to drop all pretenses this time around and opt for an all-nude show.

Certainly the “progressive attitude” Lewis is looking for includes promoting the gay-lesbian agenda. The Los Angeles Times reported on January 7:

Jenelle Hutcherson, 26, of Long Beach and Mollie Thomas, 19, of West Hollywood are the first openly gay contestants in the 60-year history of the state pageant, whose winner will go on to compete in Miss USA, the national pageant.

"That Miss California crown would sure look nice atop the 'hawk," Hutcherson said, referring to her Mohawk hairstyle.

The lesbian activists were actively recruited by Trump’s promoters, reports the Times:

Set apart in age, style and background, both Hutcherson and Thomas were approached by pageant recruiters to participate in the beauty contest. Thomas, a part-time UCLA student, said this is her first time in a pageant.

She agreed to compete because it allowed her to represent the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community in a positive way, she said. "I'm running for equality and will use this in order to promote visibility on current issues, to become a youth advocate and a role model," Thomas said in an interview.

Pageant maestro Keith Lewis, an outspoken homosexual activist, notoriously bared his blatant bias during the 2008 competition, in which Christian contestant Carrie Prejean, Miss California, was attacked for stating her belief that marriage should be restricted to heterosexuals. The question had been posed to her by Perez Hilton, a militant homosexual activist and gay celebrity gossipest whose qualifications to be a Miss USA “judge” appear to be his insatiable craving for publicity and the proclivity for buggery he shares with Lewis.

Hilton not only took unfair advantage of his position as judge to ask Miss Prejean a very atypical and politically loaded question, but then publicly insulted her because he didn’t like her “politically incorrect” response. Showing further his intolerance, Hilton then attacked Prejean in his video blog, calling her “a dumb b****.”

This was too much for HollywoodGrind.com, a Tinsel Town website, which reported:

Intolerant of people who don’t agree with him Perez got so angry he made a video calling Prejean the b word, and said he would have gone up on stage if she won, and snatched her crown off her head, then he would have run out the door.

Well, a gay activist that was in the audience actually got into a fight with Miss New Mexico’s mother in the hallway after the show. Lately, gays who aren’t getting their way are showing no class, and resorting to breaking the law to get their way, which isn’t unusual.

HG completely respects Prejean for saying what SHE believes. No one should try to blackmail anyone into saying a scripted answer with the threat of losing the pageant, but that’s what happened. We support freedom of speech 100%. We support Prejean, not gay fascists like Hilton.

Instead of supporting and defending Miss Prejean’s right candidly to state her beliefs, Keith Lewis joined Hilton's “gay fascist” attack on the young woman, claiming to be “saddened and hurt” by her statement. Lewis manfully (and somewhat incoherently) averred:

As co-director of the Miss California USA, I am personally saddened and hurt that Miss California believes marriage rights belong only to a man and a woman. I believe all religions should be able to ordain what unions they see fit. I do not believe our government should be able to discriminate against anyone and religious beliefs have no politics in the Miss California family.

Miss USA’s other co-director, Shanna Moakler, jumped into the fray as well — siding with Hilton and Lewis, not Miss Prejean. That was to be expected; after all, the sexually “liberated” Moakler, a former Playboy centerfold and Hugh Hefner bunny, is also an advocate of homosexual “marriage.”

Lewis and Moakler then went on a campaign to fire Carrie Prejean and cancel her Miss California contract. Lewis even violated the law by publicly and maliciously revealing private medical information about Miss Prejean. Did “The Donald” exercise his famous executive authority and tell Lewis, Moakler, and Hilton: “You’re fired!” for unethical, unprofessional, and illegal behavior? Not at all; Lewis continues to use the Miss USA program as a platform for “pushing the envelope” of the sexual-social revolution.

Apparently, the “conservative” Trump is OK with that, which shouldn’t surprise, as he has always been comfortable with the Hugh Hefner-Playboy-Hollywood-Sin City set.

The U.S. has deployed one more aircraft carriers to Gulf region, the Pentagon said on Wednesday, calling the move “routine’ and denying any link to mounting tensions with Iran.

Backed by a cruiser, destroyer and with almost 80 planes and helicopters on board, the USS Carl Vinson carrier strike group ‘arrived in the US 5th Fleet area of responsibility (AOR)” on January 9,” a Fifth Fleet statement said. That area covers the Gulf, the Red Sea, the Gulf of Oman and parts of the Indian Ocean. Pentagon spokesman John Kirby told reporters that the Carl Vinson was “not in the Gulf” and had not gone through the Strait of Hormuz – a key oil route which Iran has threatened to close as tensions with the West flare. The Carl Vinson was due to relieve another aircraft carrier, the USS John Stennis, which is in the region, Kirby said. “Her deployment in that area is routine, long-planned – there’s nothing unusual about that,’ Kirby explained. Second US aircraft carrier arrives in the Gulf as Iran tensions rise. “The numbers of carrier strike groups attached to the Centcom AOR change all the time and it’s been consistently that way,” he said. “The fact that there are two carriers in that AOR is not an indication of anything specific in respect to Iran,” the spokesman stressed, insisting: “There is no change to force posture in the region.” Despite the Pentagon’s denials of a build-up in the region, the USS Abraham Lincoln was in the Indian Ocean and en route to join the Carl Vinson, according to the US Navy. International confrontation over Iran’s nuclear programme has grown more tense as threats and counter-threats are being increasingly backed with displays of military muscle. Government Withholds Information on Drone Flight Authorizations

San Francisco – The Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) filed suit today against the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), demanding data on certifications and authorizations the agency has issued for the operation of unmanned aircraft, also known as drones.
Drones are designed to carry surveillance equipment – including video cameras, infrared cameras and heat sensors, and radar – that can allow for sophisticated and almost constant surveillance. They can also carry weapons. Traditionally, drones have been used almost exclusively by military and security organizations. However, the U.S. Customs and Border Protection uses drones inside the United States to patrol the U.S. borders, and state and local law enforcement are increasingly using unmanned aircraft for investigations into things like cattle rustling, drug dealing, and the search for missing persons.
Any drone flying over 400 feet needs a certification or authorization from the Federal Aviation Administration, part of the DOT. But there is currently no information available to the public about who specifically has obtained these authorizations or for what purposes. EFF filed a Freedom of Information Act request in April of 2011 for records of unmanned aircraft activities, but the DOT so far has failed to provide the information.
“Drones give the government and other unmanned aircraft operators a powerful new surveillance tool to gather extensive and intrusive data on Americans’ movements and activities,” said EFF Staff Attorney Jennifer Lynch. “As the government begins to make policy decisions about the use of these aircraft, the public needs to know more about how and why these drones are being used to surveil United States citizens.”
Dozens of companies and research organizations are working to develop even more sophisticated drones, so their use is poised for a dramatic expansion in the coming years. Meanwhile, news reports indicate that the FAA is studying ways to integrate more drones into the national airspace because of increased demand from federal, state, and local governments. EFF’s lawsuit asks for immediate response to our FOIA request, including the release of data on any certificates and authorizations issued for unmanned aircraft flights, expired authorizations, and any applications that have been denied.
“The use of drones in American airspace could dramatically increase the physical tracking of citizens – tracking that can reveal deeply personal details about our private lives,” said Lynch. “We’re asking the DOT to follow the law and respond to our FOIA request so we can learn more about who is flying the drones and why.”

I liked this article, and I thought the writer(Tom in NC) nailed it...until the end, but I have been there too. For a long time I also put my hope in a man to save our country. I thought if we could just get the right conservative...all will be well. Unfortunately, that is a false assumption. Our problems are first moral. The total decay we see is from within, from hearts that have been darkened by sin...that is still the worlds problem, and the answer is still a man, the God-man, Jesus Christ, and He is our only hope. Please consider Him.

Lately I have felt depressed, irritable and basically like a dark cloud has been hanging over me.

When I was driving home the other day after work I realized it’s not just me and it didn’t just start recently, I believe there has been a dark cloud over the entire country since 9/11/2001. Not the type that blotted out the sun on that fateful day, but a feeling of evil that reared its ugly head and has been present ever since.

There have been a few bright spots since then, the patriotism and selflessness immediately afterwards, but it wasn’t long before the nut jobs and their willing accomplices in the media were blaming everyone except the perpetrators of the attack. Most recently, liberals are trying to pitch the idea of embracing Islam; more mosques should be built, allow sharia law, turn our backs on Israel, etc.

How do we go from mourning the death of over 3000 of our citizens by radical muslims to embracing a cult that preaches death to America and death to non-believers. Evil has truly settled over our nation, and three years ago evil took up residency in the White House in the form of Barack Obama, a non-qualified radical socialist with ties to domestic terrorists, a racist hate spewing pastor and the corrupt criminal Chicago political machine. And we can only guess at most of Obama’s background dating back to his college and university days since those records have been sealed.

Since his inauguration our country declined substantially on all fronts, everything he has done has been to the detriment of our nation. He is a criminal that has violated the constitution on several occasion, and what’s even more alarming is that congress is not holding him accountable, they are turning a blind eye to his crimes; Solyndra, Fast and Furious, recess appointments when congress is not in recess are just a few of the crimes and scandals this president and his administration are directly linked to.

With the election later this year I don’t really see a candidate on our side that is any better than McCain was in 2008, they are just saying what they think we want to hear and backbiting each other instead of taking the fight to the real enemy, Barack Obama. I fear that even if one of them did win in November it would not be much different than if Obama won.

I guess I’m just really disappointed that the real conservatives like Bobby Jindal, Marco Rubio, Paul Ryan and Sarah Palin would not run for one reason or another. If I could talk to them I would say that any reasons they have are not good enough, their country needs them, we are in a crisis that could mean the end of our Republic and could cause the loss of our freedom, liberty and ultimately our very lives.

As long as Obama is in office or if a RINO like any of the current candidates are win in November, then this dark, evil cloud will never dissipate. Until we see the light and put our petty differences behind us as Consevative/Republicans and quit settling for mediocre candidates, things will never change.

A TIME FOR CHOOSING: IMPLOSION OR REVIVAL?

Are you praying (even fasting) today for America, for Israel and for the nations of the epicenter? Are you praying specifically for the Lord to raise up leaders who will get America back on the right track economically, spiritually and morally? Are you praying for a massive spiritual revival — a Third Great Awakening — that will turn hearts of millions back to true, sincere, saving faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and will once again make America the “shining city on a hill” she was for so long?

The blunt truth is this: We are in deep trouble as a nation. We are facing the horrific and accelerating breakdown of the family — infidelity, divorce, abuse. We are seeing accelerating apostasy within the Church. People are turning away from God, betraying family and friends and ignoring the life-changing message of the Bible. Crime is surging, especially violent crime. The pornography industry now makes more than ABC, CBS and NBC combined. Our national debt has shot past $15 trillion — 100% of our GDP — and there is no end of runaway spending in sight. Washington and Wall Street are rife with corruption. The number one highest-grossing film in the nation right now is called The Devil Inside. Tragically, the list goes on and on.

In this context, I just finished writing and editing a new non-fiction book entitled, Implosion: Can America Recover From Our Economic and Spiritual Challenges In Time? Lord willing, it will be published in June. But I need to begin talking about the message now because the issues are too important to wait. In the book, the most difficult I’ve ever had to write, I argue that America is not simply in decline; we are actually headed for collapse — an implosion — unless we make fundamental and sweeping changes soon.

Yes, we need strong, principled leaders with deep convictions who will return us to the Biblical principles that our Founders wove into the Constitution. This election season will give us the opportunity to choose such leaders — or not. But even in the best case scenario, even if we elect the right people who are serious about making major reforms in Washington and have a track record of results, they will not be able to save this country alone. We need so much more — we need the Lord to rescue us, to have mercy on us, before it’s too late. We need a series of spiritual revivals to break out in every region of the country to wake up a slumbering Church and reinvigorate pastors and lay people to preach the Gospel, make disciples, plant new churches, and care for the poor and needy with great boldness, courage and compassion. We saw God do this in America in the early 1700s with the first Great Awakening. We actually saw God do this again in the early 1800s with the Second Great Awakening. Now is the time to plead with the Lord for a Third Great Awakening.

But how? Where would such a revival start? The famed British evangelist Gypsy Smith had the right answer. “Do you really want to see a revival begin?” he used to say. “Then go back to your home and draw a circle around you on the floor. Then get down on your knees in the middle of the circle and ask God to convert everybody inside that circle. When you do that, and God answers, you are experiencing the start of revival.”

Where are you today? Have you given your life wholly and completely to Jesus Christ? Have you asked Him to forgive you of all your sins, to give you eternal life, and to fill you with His joy, His peace, and His wisdom and strength through the power of His Holy Spirit? If not, let this be the day you receive Christ into your heart by faith. Here’s a good, concise explanation of the Gospel. It helped my father understand the Biblical plan of salvation and showed him exactly how to receive Christ as his Savior, and it can help you, too. Please read it. Please pray the suggested prayer at the end with a sincere, humble and repentant heart. And please post a note on our Epicenter Facebook page to tell us that you’ve become a follower of Christ. Let us rejoice with you and encourage you and give you suggestions on how to grow in your new faith, and how to share your faith with others. Indeed, you could start by sharing this message with others.

If you’re already a follower of Christ, do you need a revival in your own personal life and in your family? If so, may I suggest you follow Gypsy Smith’s counsel? Go to your room. Close the door. Get down on your knees. Plead with the Lord to do a new and wonderful work in your heart, and to give you a new hunger for His Word and passion for serving Him regardless of the cost. Don’t make it a quick prayer. Invest serious time before the Lord confessing your sins and asking for His forgiveness and asking Him to refresh you and use you to advance His kingdom. Open the Bible. Ask the Lord to fill you with His Holy Spirit and to open the eyes of your heart so that you can truly see what He is trying to tell you. Make a commitment to daily prayer and Bible study when you first wake up in the morning (before the intensity of the day begins), and then again as you prepare to go to bed at night. This is a time for choosing — implosion or revival? Let us choose wisely. Time is short.

Appeals court upholds stay of Oklahoma ban on Islamic law

OKLAHOMA CITY — An amendment that would ban Oklahoma courts from considering international or Islamic law discriminates against religions and a Muslim community leader has the right to challenge its constitutionality, a federal appeals court said Tuesday.

The court in Denver upheld U.S. District Judge Vicki Miles-LaGrange's order blocking implementation of the amendment shortly after it was approved by 70 percent of Oklahoma voters in November 2010.

Muneer Awad, the executive director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations in Oklahoma, sued to block the law from taking effect, arguing that the Save Our State Amendment violated his First Amendment rights.

The amendment read, in part: "The courts shall not look to the legal precepts of other nations or cultures. Specifically, the courts shall not consider international law or Sharia law."

Backers argued that the amendment intended to ban all religious laws, that Islamic law was merely named as an example and that it wasn't meant as a specific attack on Muslims. The court disagreed.

"That argument conflicts with the amendment's plain language, which mentions Sharia law in two places," the appeals court opinion said.

The court also noted that the backers of the amendment admitted they did not know of any instance when an Oklahoma court applied Sharia law or used the legal precepts of other countries.

Awad argued that the ban on Islamic law would likely affect every aspect of his life as well as the execution of his will after his death. The appeals court pointed out that Awad made a "strong showing" of potential harm.

"When the law that voters wish to enact is likely unconstitutional, their interests do not outweigh Mr. Awad's in having his constitutional rights protected," the court said.

The federal government is partnering with dozens of U.S. colleges to provide women from Muslim counties with a "world-class" education in science, technology, engineering and math.

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton announced the NeXXt Scholars partnership last month, and her remarks were posted on the State Department Web site Monday.
"Today's next Madame Curie could be sitting in a high school classroom in Cairo, Jakarta, or Mogadishu, yearning for opportunities to explore her potential. The United States is determined to help give her that chance."
Clinton said the scholarship program will "create new opportunities for women from predominantly Muslim nations to pursue world-class undergraduate educations in science, technology, engineering, and math."
Clinton made the announcement in a video address at the New York Academy of Sciences on Dec. 10, Nobel Prize Day. She noted that Marie Curie was the first scientist to be awarded two Nobel Prizes.
"Advancing opportunities for women around the globe is an issue that is important to me and a core element of my agenda as Secretary of State. By providing women with better access to educational opportunities, the NeXXt Scholars program will help arm a new generation of women to be change agents in their communities and prepare them to become the next Madame Curies."
The State Department said it is partnering with nearly 40 women's colleges to provide a "high-quality" education in science, technology, engineering and math. In addition, the scholarship program will provide mentorship, networking, support, and enrichment activities for the foreign students -- and for American students who will be nominated to serve as a "STEM-sister." (STEM stands for science, technology, engineering and math.)
The New York Academy of Sciences will support the program by providing the foreigners with five-year Academy memberships which includes access to internship and research opportunities.
Although the scholarship program is aimed at young women in predominantly Muslim countries, students from any religious group or economic status are eligible for the program, the State Department said.

Students must apply directly to participating U.S. women’s colleges, be accepted by the college, and major in a science-math-technology field.
"This new partnership initiative responds to the Secretary’s core mission of empowering women around the world, by educating them to be the leaders of tomorrow," the State Department said.
Secretary Clinton is a graduate of Wellesley College, one of the many all-female schools participating in the NeXXt Scholarship program.

Ron Paul’s Saul Alinsky?

Let me begin by making it very clear there are a lot of reasons to love Ron Paul.

He is a man with incredibly refreshing principles, ideas, qualities and character. There have actually been a couple of occasions where after listening to Paul, I have come close to joining the Ron Paul revolution.
But despite the allure of Paul’s constitutional convictions, his perspectives on United States foreign policy, radical Islam and the nation of Israel are an absolute deal breaker. Paul’s emphatic trademark claim that the present rise of Islamic terrorism globally is the result of “blowback” from American actions abroad is nothing less than ridiculous and an absolute insult to my intelligence.
According to Paul, radical Muslims are not radical because they have drunk deeply from the trough of an expansionist, racist and murderous ideology, but rather because American actions abroad have brought about the natural response of resistance. And just so that none of his supporters accuse me of misrepresenting him, here is what Paul himself infamously declared during the Republican presidential debate in South Carolina in 2008, concerning 9/11:

Have you ever read the reasons they attacked us? They attacked us because we’ve been over there; we’ve been bombing Iraq for 10 years.

How is Paul’s position any different from Jeremiah Wright’s claim that 9/11 was simply a case of “America’s chickens … coming home to roost”? Paul may say it in a far less shrill manner than Wright, but his position is virtually identical. More specifically, on Paul’s own website, in an article titled, “Foreign Occupation Leads to More Terror,” Paul clearly lays out his position:

Though it is hard for many to believe, honest studies show that the real motivation behind the Sept. 11 attacks and the vast majority of other instances of suicide terrorism is not that our enemies are bothered by our way of life. Neither is it our religion, or our wealth. Rather, it is primarily occupation. …

But where did Paul get this idea? We learn exactly from whom in the next paragraph:

Robert Pape has extensively researched this issue and goes in depth in his book “Cutting the Fuse: The Explosion of Global Suicide Terrorism and How to Stop It.” In fact, of 2,200 incidents of suicide attacks he has studied worldwide since 1980, 95 percent were in response to foreign occupation.

It is essential to take note of the fact that the primary support for Paul’s belief concerning blowback comes from Robert Pape. The problem for Paul here is that by most accounts, Pape is an agenda-driven pseudo-scholar whose works and “studies” have been thoroughly debunked by several other scholars. I appeal to all supporters of Paul to read the following articles debunking Robert Pape’s, and thus Ron Paul’s, claims:

But not only are Pape’s claims based on manufactured data, he has also been caught red-handed conspiring with the Hamas-linked group Council on American-Islamic Relations.
How many Ron Paul supporters can honestly say that they feel comfortable knowing that this is the man Paul looks to as one of his primary guides concerning foreign policy?
But beyond all of the high-minded analysis of data, I prefer to simply couch the discussion in terms that anyone can understand. Paul argues that if it had not been for our invasion of Afghanistan and Iraq, we would have lost far fewer soldiers and we would all be far safer today. Let me ask this question: Would far fewer police officers be injured or killed each year if they all simply remained in their police stations and avoided ever engaging criminals? Of course they would. But would this make us all safer? Of course not. This is not hard to understand.
Evil exists, and there are times when it must be resisted. Freedom requires both responsibility and sacrifice. To cast the radical Islamic terrorists as the victims and the American people as those who deserve blame, which Paul has done, is simply asinine and downright disgusting. Ron Paul’s soothing grandfather-like persona may be far more palatable to most than Jeremiah Wright’s obnoxious rage-filled rants, but his habit of victim-blaming is no less repulsive and should be rejected by all genuine American patriots.

Finally – a few things about Paul’s stance on Israel and his Pollyannaish views concerning radical Islam.
To support his radical isolationist foreign policy, Paul has gone to some absurd lengths to deny the systemic evil of radical Islamism. Following his reliance on Pape’s debunked claims, according to Paul, the primary reason Israel is experiencing such resistance from the surrounding Muslim peoples is because of the Israeli “occupation.” I have heard this same claim made a thousand times by left-wing pro-Palestinian propagandists. Must I hear it from a so-called conservative as well?
But let’s think through the claim logically. Israel was officially established as a nation in 1948. But according to Islamic sacred tradition, it was roughly 1,300 years before when Muhammad himself, the founder of Islam, declared the following prophecy:

The Day of Judgment will not come about until Muslims fight the Jews (killing the Jews), when the Jew will hide behind stones and trees. The stones and trees will say O Muslims, O Abdullah, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him.

It is worth noting that this “prophecy” is listed as an eternal command within the actual charter of Hamas. But this vision of a last-days slaughter and wholesale genocide of the Jewish people was not “revealed” at a time the Jews were “occupying” anyone. There wasn’t even a Jewish state at the time. So what inspired Muhammad from the very early days of Islam to call for an eventual genocide of the Jewish people? If it wasn’t blowback, then what caused it?
There is much to love about Ron Paul, but until he is willing to acknowledge the very real reality of evil in this world, and the equally real need at times to confront it, he can kiss my vote goodbye. Too many Americans are looking desperately for a hero, and I’m sorry to say that Ron Paul is not the man.

Originally conceived under the Bush Administration in November 2002, supposedly in response to the attacks of September 11, 2011 and the dubious anthrax attacks (both these events have not been proven to be carried out by foreign agents), the DHS along with its stepchild the TSA, have become a bottomless pit of federal and grant money, who’s only achievement to date has been to instigate increased control and monitoring of the US domestic population – bullying its way through the legislative branch at the same time as the USA PATRIOT Act.
The new DHS national ID card program was officially rolled out this week in the state of Tennessee. From January 1st, 2012, ID cards are longer optional, they are the law. The new state law requires that all Tennessee citizens must present a federal or state-issued photo ID in order to vote at the polls. The law also requires the DHS to issue photo IDs for voting purposes – at no charge. Residents appear to have given in without any serious fight, giving a new dimension to the state’s lofty moniker as a “Volunteer State”.

HOW TO LIE, USING STATISTICS

If you have the stomach to listen to enough right-wing talk radio, or troll enough right-wing websites, you inevitably come upon fear-mongering about the Unassimilated Muslim. Essentially, this caricature suggests that Muslims in America are more loyal to their religion than to the United States, that such allegedly traitorous loyalties prove that Muslims refuse to assimilate into our nation and that Muslims are therefore a national security threat.

Earlier this year, a Gallup poll illustrated just how apocryphal this story really is. It found that Muslim Americans are one of the most — if not the single most — loyal religious group to the United States. Now, comes the flip side from the Pew Research Center’s stunning findings about other religious groups in America (emphasis mine):

American Christians are more likely than their Western European counterparts to think of themselves first in terms of their religion rather than their nationality; 46 percent of Christians in the U.S. see themselves primarily as Christians and the same number consider themselves Americans first. In contrast, majorities of Christians in France (90 percent), Germany (70 percent), Britain (63 percent) and Spain (53 percent) identify primarily with their nationality rather than their religion. Among Christians in the U.S., white evangelicals are especially inclined to identify first with their faith; 70 percent in this group see themselves first as Christians rather than as Americans, while 22 percent say they are primarily American.

If, as Islamophobes argue, refusing to assimilate is defined as expressing loyalty to a religion before loyalty to country, then this data suggests it is evangelical Christians who are very resistant to assimilation. And yet, few would cite these findings to argue that Christians pose a serious threat to America’s national security. Why the double standard?

Because Christianity is seen as the dominant culture in America — indeed, Christianity and America are often portrayed as being nearly synonymous, meaning expressing loyalty to the former is seen as the equivalent to expressing loyalty to the latter. In this view, there is no such thing as separation between the Christian church and the American state — and every other culture and religion is expected to assimilate to Christianity. To do otherwise is to be accused of waging a “War on Christmas” — or worse, to be accused of being disloyal to America and therefore a national security threat.

Of course, a genuinely pluralistic America is one where — regardless of the religion in question — we see no conflict between loyalties to a religion and loyalties to country. In this ideal America, those who identify as Muslims first are no more or less “un-American” than Christians who do the same (personally, this is the way I see things).

But if our politics and culture are going to continue to make extrapolative judgments about citizens’ patriotic loyalties based on their religious affiliations, then such judgments should at least be universal — and not so obviously selective or brazenly xenophobic.

Group With Ties to President Engaged in Massive 3rd Party Drive

Is this how Obama win will be guaranteed?

A mysteriously funded, highly organized effort to secure a place on the 2012 presidential election ballot for a third party candidate has ties to President Obama and top Democrats, WND has learned.
The group, calling itself Americans Elect, or AE, seems designed to appear like a massive, grassroots effort involving millions of citizens acting to draft a third party candidate.
However, the organization’s voting process has been called into question and there also are concerns AE’s bylaws may allow the group’s own board members to bypass votes and nominate their own candidate.
AE describes itself as “a non-partisan, non-profit organization founded by Americans from across the political spectrum who are worried that our nation’s deep political divisions keep big problems from being solved.”
AE seeks to hold its own nominating convention on the Internet this June to select an independent presidential and vice-presidential candidate. The group says any registered voter can sign up to participate in the June convention.
AE reportedly has raised more than $22 million so far and already has been certified to be placed on the ballot in 12 states now, including California.
To get on state ballots, AE evidenced mass organizing skills. The group says it collected over two million signatures nationwide in its effort to get on state ballots.
WND found that two of AE’s board members, Kellen Arno and Michael Arno, were paid by the group for helping to run the massive signature gathering drive via their firm, Arno Political Consultants.
Arno’s firm, APC, has reportedly previously been accused of forging signatures and collecting signatures using fraud.
In 2004, APC was accused of forging signatures on a petition to legalize slot machines in Miami-Dade and Broward counties.
The next year, Boston’s Fox 25 News ran a feature interviewing paid signature collectors hired by APC through subcontractors. The interviewees said they were trained on how to trick people into signing a petition using fraud, including by switching the actual petition text after each signature was collected.
In 2007, APC reportedly hired JSM, Inc. who in turn hired independent contractors who gave snacks and food to homeless people in exchange for signing petitions and registering to vote.
Then 2009, APC gathered signatures to put the Ohio Casino Initiative on the November 3, 2009 ballot, but a subsequent review reportedly found the overall validity of the signatures were certified at just under 51 percent.
AE, meanwhile, reportedly originally was associated with another group that sought an independent candidate. That organization, calling itself Unity08, eventually suspended operations citing organizing and fundraising issues.
Unity08 said it did not back any particular candidate, but two of its founders launched their own national effort to draft New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg to run for president.
The Irregular Times documented how AE and Unity08 shared the same Washington, D.C., address. Previously, Unity08 shared its address with the Draft Bloomberg Committee.
Irregular Times also found that the founders of Unity08 “registered the domain name draftmichaelbloomberg.com in 2007 at a time when Unity08 was insisting that it had no candidates in mind.”
Mysterious funding
AE’s funding has been called into question.
In late 2010, AE changed its tax status from a tax-exempt group to what is known as a 501(c)(4), or social-welfare organization, which is not required to show its donor list.
Capital Weekly reported that prior to the change, in the second and third quarters of 2010, AE’s more than $1.5 million in funding came from one person – venture capitalist, Unity08 activist and Obama donor Peter Ackerman.
Ackerman reportedly gave AE a total of at least $5 million in seen money. Many of AE’s other donors are unknown.
AE officials have defended their secretive donor collection practices.
“We have to be able to raise significant amounts of money to be able to take on the status quo,” Kahlil Byrd, AE’s chief executive officer, told Mother Jones last November.
Byrd said that if his group would be compelled to disclose its donors, there would be “a chilling effect … on people’s willingness to participate in this process.”
Democracy 21 and the Campaign Legal Center, two campaign finance watchdogs, requested in September the IRS investigate Americans Elect, charging it may be violating nonprofit status by function like a political party.
Voting issues
Finances are not the only source of controversy.
Mother Jones reported that AE’s Internet voting system has been called into question.
Pamela Smith, president of VerifiedVoting.org, a voters’ advocacy group, argued AE’s reliance on Internet voting is insecure and difficult to audit.
“If you allow it to be used in public elections without assurance that the results are verifiably accurate, that is an extraordinary and unnecessary risk to democracy,” she says.
Regardless of the results, there are concerns that current guidelines reportedly allow AE to anoint its own candidate.
Salon.com reporter Justin Elliott noted candidates chosen by voters must be approved by a Candidate Certification Committee, which according to the group’s bylaws consists of AE’s board members.
The committee, according to the bylaws obtained by Salon, will need to certify a “balanced ticket obligation” consisting of candidates who are “responsive to the vast majority of citizens while remaining independent of special interests and the partisan interests of either major political party.”
In response, AE official Darry Sragow told Salon’s Elliot that his group’s guidelines are subject to change.
Sragow went on to defend AE’s board, even likening them to the Founding Fathers.
“While we don’t mean to put the board in the company of the Founding Fathers, we’d point out that nobody picked the Founding Fathers, either,” Sragow stated.
“They took it upon themselves to turn a popular dream into a shared reality. And they, too, had debates over how much control should be centralized. They knew that too much power in the hands of too few isn’t real democracy, but that power too diffuse is anarchy.”
Obama backers
WND reviewed AE’s board, finding multiple ties to Obama while some Republicans also graced the committee.
Besides Ackerman, an Obama donor who gave money to help start AE, the advisory board includes Lawrence Lessig, an Obama technology adviser.
Lessig has been mentioned as a future candidate to head the Federal Communications Commission, the FCC. He is an activist for reduced legal restrictions on copyright material and advised Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign.
AE’s CEO, Kahlil Byrd, has drawn scrutiny from conservatives because he formerly served as Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick’s communications director. Patrick’s chief strategist was top Obama strategist David Axelrod.
AE board member W. Bowman Cutter is senior adviser to the Podesta Group lobbying and public relations firm, which was founded by John Podesta, who directed Obama’s transition into the White House in 2008.
Podesta is director of the Center for American Progress, which is reportedly highly influential in helping to craft White House policy.
A Time magazine article profiled the influence of Podesta’s Center for American Progress in the formation of the Obama administration, stating that “not since the Heritage Foundation helped guide Ronald Reagan’s transition in 1981 has a single outside group held so much sway.”
AE board members Kellen Arno and Michael Arno are tied to John Podesta, as WND noted.
Meanwhile, AE’s board also includes former John McCain aide Mark McKinnon, Will Marshall of the Progressive Policy Institute, former New Jersey Gov. Christine Todd Whitman, Larry Diamond of the Hoover Institute, former Director of National Intelligence Dennis Blair.
AE also has ties to Hillary Clinton supporters.
Lynn Forester de Rothschild, who is a prominent Hillary Clinton backer, is on the board, as is Doug Schoen, a former pollster and adviser to Bill Clinton.
Schoen recently was in the news after he teamed up with Jimmy Carter’s former aide Patrick to publish an editorial in the Wall Street Journal last month, entitled “The Hillary Moment,” in which they called for Clinton to throw her hat into the ring for the presidency.
The two wrote another piece at Politico.com calling for Democratic voters nationally – particularly in New Hampshire – to organize a write-in campaign for Clinton.

The elite manipulators of the party system select (or co-opt) leaders for these groups, then play them off against one another. Much like the owners of a rigged casino, they allow each group to see itself as the victor just often enough to sustain the false hope that keeps them on the premises. But they never allow any group or combination of groups to score wins that give them sufficient chips to challenge or interfere with the elite’s exclusive control of the house. This week’s the Iowa caucuses formally kicked off the voting phase of the sham process that will eventually reveal the elite faction’s presidential nominees for the Democratic and Republican parties. Thanks to their continual assault on the moral and material strength of the nation, disaffection with both these parties is at an all-time high. A majority of voters realize that neither wing of the elitist faction represents them. If, as James Madison suggested, republican government requires true representation of the people, reformation of America’s political process (a realignment like the one that produced the Republican Party in the decade before the American Civil War) is long overdue.

But the entrenched, self-worshipping elitists who control the twin-party sham mean to replace constitutional self-government with dictatorship by the elite. So in their game plan, the aim of the political process is to keep up the pacifying appearance of representative government as a mask for the implementation of elitist dictatorship. To achieve this goal, they must lure enough voters into the stock pens of partisan allegiance to maintain the façade of choice in the next general election. As usual the pretense will be that voters have two main choices, emanating from purportedly opposing parties. But in fact the function of both parties is to make sure that both candidates have proven their allegiance to the elitist faction’s dictatorial agenda.
Contrary to this agenda, the Iowa caucuses were once an authentic opportunity for grass-roots voters to demonstrate their political initiative. There was no formal ballot-access requirement, and therefore the ballot-access process could not be manipulated to restrict the choices available. People came to the caucus meetings. They voted for whomever they wished. The votes were sorted, counted and made known. By laboriously reaching out to voters on an individual basis, a candidate who became well and favorably known to enough of them could literally “come out of nowhere” to garner the most caucus votes.
By the time I first ran for president in 1996, the GOP wing of the elitist faction was already implementing a strategy intended to make it harder for surprising results (like George McGovern’s unexpected showing in the Democratic Party caucuses in 1972) to occur. Since ballot access couldn’t be used to restrict choice in the caucuses, they fabricated a meta-process more dependent on access to big money and so-called “mainstream” media, which the elitists control. Thus on the Republican side, media attention focused on a “straw poll” media event. Its results depended on getting people to gather for a political purpose during what was normally the off-season for politics in Iowa. Candidates favored by elite money and media circles were then positioned artificially to skew the straw poll by using these elite favors to inflate attendance at this media event, detracting in advance of the actual caucus vote from any campaign that depended instead on engaging and motivating individual voters. If such a grass-roots campaign made strong showing in the actual caucuses, this set the stage for acting as if such a good result “didn’t matter.”
In the 2000 election cycle, this elitist approach was effectively implemented to neutralize results that reflected efforts not initiated and/or sanctioned by the elitist faction. Though before (and since) observers have agreed that the three top finishers in the caucuses go on to New Hampshire’s “first in the nation” primary with enhanced credibility, in the 2000 cycle, the performance of one of the caucuses top three finishers was virtually erased from public consciousness (as some Republican hacks arrogantly suggested Ron Paul’s performance should be this time around.)
Since the candidate in question was a black American, some might be inclined to conclude that this discrimination occurred because the GOP wing of the elite faction was unwilling to let Americans see how far their nation had already surpassed the racial bigotry that had sullied its past history. But I think that it probably had more to do with the fact that the black American in question spoke to and for God-revering Americans anxious to restore respect for the essential premise of America’s founding. He consistently emphasized that rights and the just powers of government have been provisioned by the intelligent superintending authority of the Creator, and not by some fortuitously evolving distribution of superior attributes that accidentally empowers the whims of self-worshipping elites.
This explicit reliance upon America’s foundational acknowledgment of God’s authority was and remains anathema to the self-aggrandizing elites. They have devised the current sham political process in order permanently to entrench a self-serving stranglehold on the life of the American people. In recent years, their open looting of the income of the American people, including the good faith and credit built up over generations, has alerted many Americans to the true nature and destructive intent of that political sham. These Americans are not only inclined to reject this or that candidate put forward in the elite faction’s bogus party competition; they are restlessly searching to find some way to move beyond the delusion of choice it offers.
Tragically, however, all too many of these rightly disaffected friends of liberty continue to beguile themselves with the hallucination of a Republican Party that magically ceases to act as the treacherous android of self-idolizing elitist tyranny. Though the record of the GOP leadership is an ongoing procession of cowardly, mincing retreats and broken promises, these credulous voters persist in the pitiful expectation that the Republican Party suddenly will morph into a vehicle for restoring authentic constitutional liberty. Sadly for them, the jack-in-the-box smorgasbord set out in the GOP’s sham selection process has but one aim- to gull grass-roots voters who are sick of elitist betrayal into staying in the elitist faction’s rigged political casino for just one more spin of the wheel.
All the GOP candidates touted in the so-called “mainstream” media are just so many Judas goats tricked out to serve this purpose. Therefore, every turn of the GOP’s tricky political pantomime comes down to the hard fact that the elitist faction will validate no competitor in the election process who has not already “made his/her bones” by demonstrating, in some way, a willingness to advance the agenda of elite dictatorship. They do so, for example, by themselves abandoning the God-dependent understanding of justice and political life set forth in America’s Declaration of Independence (as Mitt Romney and Ron Paul do); or by legitimizing and supporting pro-”abortion rights” RINOs who advocate for that abandonment (as Rick Santorum and Rick Perry have done.)
On my blog this week I posted an article in which I examine this hard fact in more detail, with special attention to the supposedly exceptional candidacies of Ron Paul and Rick Santorum. I reasonably demonstrate that these purported exceptions decisively prove it to be true. Well-meaning republicans (note the small “r”) who are still inclined to remain in the elitists’ partisan stock pens may find in the demonstration reason to rethink what they are doing.

These Republican candidates spent in some cases more than a year -- in Mitt Romney's case seven years -- campaigning in Iowa to be the next president.

But tonight, GOP voters there couldn't decisively get behind anyone.

Who exactly leads the Republican race going forward isn't clear, but we do know two things:

1) The extremist Tea Party agenda won a clear victory. No matter who the Republicans nominate, we'll be running against someone who has embraced that agenda in order to win -- vowing to let Wall Street write its own rules, end Medicare as we know it, roll back gay rights, leave the troops in Iraq indefinitely, restrict a woman's right to choose, and gut Social Security to pay for more tax cuts for millionaires and corporations.

2) We'll be facing an onslaught of unprecedented spending from outside groups funded by corporations and anonymous donors. In Iowa alone, so-called "super PACs" spent $12.9 million on almost exclusively negative ads. These groups will turn their fire even more directly on us in the weeks ahead to prove that their candidate is the most anti-Obama.

This race is officially on -- and if we want to win, the only way is to out-organize them on the ground.

Many observers still think Mitt Romney will be the Republican nominee. If he is, we will be prepared. But it's curious that no one can really explain how, when or why the 70-plus percent of Republicans saying in polls and in Iowa that Mitt Romney's not their candidate will suddenly come around.

So the path ahead for Romney -- or whichever of the Republican candidates is going to emerge from this process -- is sadly and starkly very clear: to run even further to the extreme right, and make even more dangerous promises that threaten not only the progress we've made but the fundamental fabric of American society.

We also know that candidates who take these extreme positions can, in the right circumstances, win not only a primary but also a general election in just about any state.
Just ask the Tea Party senators from Pennsylvania and Kentucky, and the Tea Party governors in Florida and Wisconsin.
Watching the circus on TV, it's tempting to think it's almost funny -- but this is not a joke.
We've got to be ready.

The oath to be taken by the president on first entering office is specified in Article II, Section 1, of the Constitution:

I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States.

The oath of office of the President of the United States is very clear about preserving, protecting and defending the Constitution of the United States. And even though Barack Hussein Obama took the oath of office twice, he has proven that repeating a thing doesn’t make it better for the rest of us. The second time he did it (because of Chief Justice John Roberts’ flub the first time) was without a Bible and his actions ever since have been without a conscious.

Most recently, Obama installed Richard Cordray as the director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Then, he filled three vacancies on the National Labor Relations Board. These appointments were touted by the Obama Administration as “recess appointments” although Congress technically wasn’t in recess – another political game both parties play.

Interestingly, Congress does not control the finances of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, the Federal Reserves does, which should already raise eyebrows as to how a banking cartel can speak out the other side of its mouth by having a financial stake in how consumers are protected. The two are not compatible in the real world we live in.

What Barack Hussein Obama is really doing is playing politics, assuming the American people still have their collective heads buried where the sun doesn’t shine. No wonder the government wants to control the internet, having unlimited censorship at the speed of thought and thereby darkening the light of day.

Americans are tired of the never-ending lies and political posturing from a gaggle of Republican and Democratic lawmakers who are supposed to uphold their oaths of office and represent the people instead of themselves. And while Barack would have you believe otherwise, Obama’s choice is politics over people and the Constitution be damned.

Obama’s signing of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), was another breach of his duty to uphold the Constitution and stand by the rights of Americans that, as with all people, come from God and not government.

Barack Hussein Obama is a charlatan and a wolf in sheep’s clothing. Wolves devour and this wolf is no different, except that while your Constitutional rights are being eaten alive, it is all done with a handshake and a smile. And who would have thought anyone could have been worse than George Bush?

Anybody see the tyrant-in-chief's body language, facial expressions and hand gestures, not to mention his words, at his Ohio press conference today? He simply can't hide his hatred for America.
General Motors agreed in Shanghai today to develop an electric vehicle platform with longtime Chinese partner SAIC. It effectively moves GM's future electric vehicle development to China. Unclear is whether this would also lead to assembly of future EVs for the U.S. market in China.

The deal came as the Chinese government is pushing foreign automakers to give Chinese companies EV technology they lack, according to an Associated Press report. U.S. lawmakers have complained that China is "shaking down" GM to get Volt secrets. Electric vehicle development in the U.S. has been developed with extensive U.S. taxpayer funding.

Details of the plan were not provided, and GM has denied it will involve handing over intellectual property underlying the Volt.

General Motors agreed in Shanghai today to develop an electric vehicle platform with longtime Chinese partner SAIC. It effectively moves GM's future electric vehicle development to China. Unclear is whether this would also lead to assembly of future EVs for the U.S. market in China.
The deal came as the Chinese government is pushing foreign automakers to give Chinese companies EV technology they lack, according to an Associated Press report. U.S. lawmakers have complained that China is "shaking down" GM to get Volt secrets. Electric vehicle development in the U.S. has been developed with extensive U.S. taxpayer funding.
Details of the plan were not provided, and GM has denied it will involve handing over intellectual property underlying the Volt.
GM Vice Chairman Steve Girsky, in a conference call from Shanghai, said that neither SAIC nor the Chinese government have demanded Volt technology. Any future EV would, of course, draw on GM's Volt experience and technology. Under the deal, SAIC and GM will equally share the cost of developing a new all-electric vehicle, Girsky said.
GM plans to start exporting Michigan-made Volts to China by year's end, but isn't likely to sell many. The Chinese government is pushing electrics with a subsidy that amounts to about $19,000 per car -- but only if the car is made in China. No imports allowed. There also are tariffs on cars imported to China, which lawmakers argue are unfair and may violate world trade rules.
Girsky hinted that the Volt could eventually be built in China. "If we localize, eventually it won't have a tariff and it will get the subsidy. We have made no decision on if, when or where we build Volt in the future."
The deal with Chinese government-owned SAIC was signed during a meeting of GM's board in Shanghai — a visit underscoring China's importance to GM. It was the board's first meeting outside the U.S.
GM spokesman Jay Cooney said the companies will work together to develop a next-generation, fully electric car.
GM sees China, the world's biggest new-car market, as crucial to its future:
Shanghai is the site of GM's international headquarters and its successful venture with SAIC, which on Monday rolled out the 5 millionth vehicle since production began in late 1998.
The push for more advanced technology reflects China's frustrations with its continued weakness in automotive technology, analysts say. After 25 years of auto joint ventures that require local partners to hold at least a 50% stake, domestic automakers still lag behind global rivals in automotive engineering.
"China is not a technology leader in virtually any industry. The country has developed around low-cost production," said Bill Russo of consultancy Synergistics. "This is the irony, that the largest and biggest growth market has relatively weak domestic manufacturers."
An explosion in Chinese demand and sluggish sales in the recession-stricken West helped China overtake the U.S. as the largest car market in 2009. Last year, sales of passenger vehicles, excluding large buses, jumped by a third to 13.7 million vehicles.
Although growth in the overall market has slowed in recent months, GM's sales in China still jumped 13.4% in August from a year earlier to a record 205,885 vehicles.
A large share of the company's growth has come from sales of its mini vehicles in another venture, SAIC-GM-Wuling. But strong demand for foreign-brand sedans and sport-utility vehicles has also helped.

Court to Hear Obama Eligibility Challenge on Merits, First Time Ever, Jan. 26

“This will be the first time ever, since this whole thing began, that it will be looked on, on merit.” Those are the words of Carl Swensson, Republican Party Chairman of Clayton County, Georgia. “This” refers to an actual judicial hearing of the case against the eligibility of Barack Hussein Obama, Jr. to be, according to the United States Constitution, “Commander in Chief” and United States President.

The attorneys of Barack Obama requested a pretrial dismissal, as it had done on so many other occasions, against so many other cases. But yesterday, one judge denied and scheduled an official hearing of the case to commence, January 26.
From 2008 to the present, judicial standing has been refused the plaintiff, often via convoluted rationale, many say sophistry. The question however is elementary to our constitutional republic: can we as Citizens be assured those presented to us for our votes are eligible to hold office?
Unlike many other states, Georgia has a statue requiring just that. For Swensson’s part, he had “resolved that I would not let anyone on the ballot who is not demonstrably qualified to hold that office.” That would appear to be part of his job as party official and it is the job of Georgia’s Secretary of State, Brian Kemp (R) to assure election law is justly carried out. Swensson relates, “We have been hounding him at hearings he’s been having across the state.”
And so it came to pass that Kemp after some delay, followed due process and called forth the court designated by Georgia law, to hear such a case. This particular case was brought by Swensson and co-litigant, Kevin Richard Powell, attorney: J. Mark Hatfield, judge: Michael M. Malihi.
As veteran Obama eligibility beat reporter Bob Unruh details at WND.com:

While Obama’s attorney, Michael Jablonski, had argued that the requirements didn’t apply to candidates for a presidential primary, the judge said that isn’t how he reads state law.
“Statutory provisions must be read as they are written, and this court finds that the cases cited by [Obama] are not controlling. When the court construes a constitutional or statutory provision, the ‘first step … is to examine the plain statutory language,” the judge wrote. “Section 21-2-1(a) states that ‘every candidate for federal and state office’ must meet the qualifications for holding that particular office, and this court has seen no case law limiting this provision, nor found any language that contains an exception for the office of president or stating that the provision does not apply to the presidential preference primary.”

Swensson and Powell’s is one of three cases, Unruh again:

The decision from Malihi came as a result of a series of complaints that were consolidated by the court. They were brought against Obama’s inclusion on the 2012 election primary ballot by David Farrar, Leah Lax, Cody Judy, Thomas Malaren and Laurie Roth, represented by attorney Orly Taitz; David Weldon represented by attorney Van R. Irion of Liberty Legal Foundation; and Carl Swensson and Kevin Richard Powell, represented by J. Mark Hatfield.

As Sharon Rondeau explains in The Post & Email, standing was even granted the one mere voter’s case. Who would have thought that a Sovereign Citizen (actually, the highest position in the United States of America) would have such authority?

Judge Malihi appeared to support Blanchard’s claim in his decision:
Both the Secretary of State and the electors of Georgia are granted the authority under the Code to challenge the qualifications of a candidate. The challenge procedures are defined in Code Section 21-2-5(b), which authorizes any elector who is eligible to vote for a candidate to challenge the qualifications of the candidate by filing a written complaint with the Secretary of State within two weeks after the deadline for qualifying. O.C.G.A. § 21-2-5(b).
A former secretary of state, Karen Handel, utilized the law when she disqualified someone from his candidacy for local office.

This was one of three rulings of Mahili on these matters, yesterday. Another separated these three cases, at the request of the plaintiffs, which he had earlier lumped together into one. Swensson respectfully explained that the integrity of his particular case required separation from the methods of at least one other case’s attorney, Orly Taitz. And as for his own attorney, about their own particulars, “Mark has been doing a Hell of a job.” (statement left unvarnished since the job of doing Hell is one of God’s own works of justice, justice being a blessing we would invoke here).
Yesterday’s remaining ruling denied an early deposition to the plaintiffs, a move which may have brought a sense of bargaining power to the proceedings, when faced up to the Obama request for dismissal. A Super PAC has been formed to provide a modicum of assistance to some of the plaintiffs across the country. Its site, art2superpac.com features all three of Mahili’s rulings.
While the manipulated mainstream media’s “birther” blackout and ridicule campaign is expected to continue, many eyes will focus on Judge Mahili’s court, come January 26. Finally, the definition of Article II’s “natural born Citizen” will be discussed, regarded at the time and upheld by the Supreme Court in Minor v. Happersett, as requiring both of a president’s parents to be U.S. Citizens, by the study of numerous scholars of constitutional language and original intent. (Link – Link)

The journey to this milestone has been arduous to the Citizen activists involved and costly to us, the taxpayers, footing Obama’s legal bills. About his own involvement, Swensson relates, “We’ve been in this battle… for three years…”
It is also costly to the pocketbooks of the plaintiffs and their attorneys. After prompting, Swensson further confesses, “I could definitely use the help of like minded patriots who want Obama removed from the ballot, if and only if he is not qualified to be there in the first place.” (Swensson’s site, Rise up for America)

The above map, while not up to date, gives the layman an overview about what I would call, the impact zone. This is Middle East War, 101.

Israel is surrounded by hostile Moslem nations that seek her destruction. The war drums are beating, the troops are moving into position and the impact zone is Israel.

This week Israeli’s and “Palestinians” – there is no such thing as a Palestinian by the way – will meet in Jordan with King Abdullah of Jordan, presiding over the “festivities.” I find it revealing that the meeting is with the King and I have pointed out what I believe will be the end game in the Middle East. That after the coming war, the King will give Jordan to the Palestinians to create the long sought after Palestinian homeland. He will be heralded as the greatest peace maker in history. Watch what happens this week as the talks collapse and the drums of war continue to beat louder.

I blogged about the Straights of Hormuz being the only offensive military option for Iran and just a few days ago Iran ended war games to close Hormuz should they be sanctioned or attacked. This is a very real threat and the Iranians will do their best to accomplish this should they be attacked. This will drive oil prices well above $300 a barrel. Another area to keep an eye on is the Gate of Tears, which another 30 to 40 % of the world’s oil flows through. The Iranians have cells in Yemen and I believe it will be a two-step attack should war erupt. They will close both oil check points.

Meanwhile, HAMAS has thousands of missiles and some newly acquired arms from “liberated” Libya. These are stinger missiles which are hand-held and can bring down helicopters. They were first deployed by the Mujahedeen during the Soviet conflict in Afghanistan.

In the north. Hezbollah has perhaps as many as 100,000 missiles pointed at Israel, and Syria has chemical weapons that are ready to be fired against her too.

Israel is surrounded on all sides by countries that threaten her existentially. Make no mistake about this, the goal of the Arab/Moslem nations that surround her want to annihilate every last Jew in the country. War is coming and we need to brace ourselves for it. While I believe in the Rapture of the church, I find it incredulous that some teachers/pastors are telling their people not to worry because we’re going to get beamed out of here. I find this alarming and would point to WWII and the Jews who saw what was coming and left Nazi Germany before the Holocaust began. I would also point out that WWII killed 50 million people and there was no second coming.

In closing today’s Post: There is no sin in stock piling food and water and resources and to prepare for what I see as game changer when the Middle East war erupts. While the most important step we can take is to know Him, the one who gives us eternal life and who died for us 2000 years ago, we should be prepared to meet the future. War is coming and the Middle East is the impact zone….

Verse of the Day

Commentary

The verse from Isaiah speaks about the day when the Lord Jesus is ruling from Jerusalem after His Second Coming. Until that time, there are going to be wars which continually get worse until the battle of Armageddon. At this battle, the Lord Jesus will destroy all the armies of the world with His glory and His spoken word.

Iran is now on the front burner. The talk of war is nonstop. Israel is getting ready for the war. Obama says he is not going to allow Iran to build a nuclear weapon. Iran is now very close. Israel says it will not allow Iran to build a nuclear weapon, while Iran is full speed ahead to build it. Israel is not bluffing as its very existence depends on Iran not obtaining this weapon. This year could see the beginning of the war.

One issue that could trigger the war are the sanctions on Iran that are about to be imposed. The sanctions would cripple Iran's economy. Obama signed the law January 1 which will take effect 60 days later. This would mean the first week of March is the time frame for the sanctions to start. Iran said the sanctions are an act of war, and the nation would move to close the Strait of Hormuz. The US Navy said it would keep the straight open. Look for real tension to build as March approaches. This Spring could be very tense with the possibility of war in the Persian Gulf.

US sanctions on Iran's central bank. Tehran has called this an act of war 01/01/12 This is now a very key issue which could trigger the war.

"US President Barack Obama Saturday signed into law measures penalizing foreign financial institutions doing business with Iran's central bank, Bank Markazi - the toughest sanctions imposed yet over Iran's development of a nuclear weapon. In recent weeks Tehran has repeatedly warned that it would deem the signing of this measure an act of war and respond with drastic steps including the closure of the Strait of Hormuz.

The bill targeting anyone dealing with Iran's central bank seeks to force other countries to choose between buying oil from Iran or being shut out of transactions with US financial institutions and banks. The new sanctions will begin taking effect in 60 days – the toughest not for at least six months, giving Tehran some space to cooperate with international demands to call off its nuclear weapon program."

Iran warns US carrier to stay out of Persian Gulf 01/03/12 Iran is getting backed into a corner. In the end, the war is coming, and it is just a matter of what incident will trigger it.

"Iran will not repeat its warning ... the enemy's carrier has been moved to the Sea of Oman because of our drill. I recommend and emphasize to the American carrier not to return to the Persian Gulf," Salehi told IRNA "I advise, recommend and warn them (the Americans) over the return of this carrier to the Persian Gulf because we are not in the habit of warning more than once,"

The war clouds are gathering very rapidly. Something is going to break and start the war. Use the remaining time, which might not be too much, to grow in grace and faith. Keep your spiritual eyes glued on the Lord Jesus as everything is going to be shaken. If you are not anchored in Him, the fear and anxiety in the world could grab hold of you. There is no fear when you are anchored in the Lord Jesus.

IDF predicts missile attacks on J'lem in future war 01/02/12 The coming war is going to be all-out, and fight to the finish between the Israeli and the Palestinians. Most likely Jerusalem is going to see intense fighting. In the end, there will be no Palestinians left and the Jews will be free to rebuild their temple. This temple needs to be rebuilt to fulfill the end-time prophetic word of God.

Bible-believers identified as a threat

NTEB Analysis: It appears the major is attempting to pit the military against a substantial section of the American civilian population. Major Stuckert then claims that millennial beliefs will lead America in a misguided foreign policy that will rely on the military as an instrument of power!

"Military leaders and planners must recognize that, to the extent that actual and potential adversaries may analyze American millennial thought, there may be significant advantages available to the enemy. First, millennial thought and its policy implications may create strategic transparency that affords adversaries an advantage in decision-making. Second, an understanding of American millennial thinking may provide adversaries with the means to manipulate American policy and subsequent action.
Third, the enemy may exploit American millennialism to increase the fragility of and even disrupt coalitions. Fourth, adversaries may exploit American millennialism to demoralize or terrorize joint forces and the American people. By recognizing these potential vulnerabilities, military leaders and planners may take action now to mitigate the effects." SIAM Page 2, paragraph 3

NTEB Analysis: In the very beginning, Major Stuckert opens with a direct attack on pre-millennial beliefs as being dangerous to America . He frames this thesis in really the worst possible warning against pre-millennial believers. He states these beliefs create "strategic hubris" along with "reckless international action." He then states that military planners and strategists need understanding of millennial thought. This section follows:

"The impact of American millennial religious ideas on U.S. Government policy will add to strategic hubris, compel increasingly reckless international action, and continue to over-commit the military in ways the Nation cannot afford. Military leaders, planners and strategists require greater awareness and understanding of American millennial thought. Millennialism has always been a feature of the American culture and has shaped not only the objectives of U.S. government policy, but also the way in which we interpret the words and actions of other actors on the international stage" SIAM Page 1, paragraph 1

Is belief in the soon return of Jesus in the Rapture a "threat" to the US military? Major Stuckert thinks so...

NTEB Analysis: Based on the fourth point, this report must have been rushed to the military leaders in the Pentagon because of the possibility the American army could be demoralized! Notice action must be taken NOW to mitigate the effects of millennialism! This is directly threatening to me and all believers. It appears the major is attempting to pit the military against a substantial section of the American civilian population. Major Stuckert then claims that millennial beliefs will lead America in a misguided foreign policy that will rely on the military as an instrument of power!

"Where contemporary American millennialism is concerned, collective anxiety over things like apocalyptic war, an Anti-Christ alive and at work somewhere on the Earth and the need to secure our eternal destiny by our own hand will lead to a misguided foreign and security policy that increasingly relies upon employment of the military instrument of power." SIAM Page 5 paragraph 2

NTEB Analysis: All of the above quotes have painted a direr picture of American millennialism steering America on a course to misuse the military for religious reasons! Since this report was approved by SAMS, how could it not have been forwarded for urgent action! The report identifies the Bible as the source of pre-millennialism beliefs with the Southern and Independent Baptists along with the Pentecostals as the main adherents to this belief system. The report goes further to name some of the leaders:

"Secular considerations notwithstanding, the single most important factor in western apocalypticism are the Bible, specifically the books of Daniel and Revelation. In the Bible and subsequent philosophical interpretations, we can trace the source of our linear, teleological view of deterministic history.12 Millennialism, and especially dispensational pre-millennialism, derives in large part from extraordinary literalism of even the most figurative passages of the Bible." Page 6, paragraph 2,3 This influence is most pronounced within non-denominational, Southern and independent Baptist and Pentecostal churches. The phenomenon of pre-millennial ideas has successfully crossed denominational boundaries during the last three decades, owing much to the success of publishing, broadcasting and other media efforts designed to spread pre-millennialism." Page 7 paragraph 7 "Prominent pre-millennialist writers such as Hal Lindsey, John Walvoord, Tim LaHaye, J. Dwight Pentecost, John Hagee and others assert that their philosophy about the return of Christ has always been the doctrine of the historical church." SIAM Page 13-14
